We looked, forward to visiting this synagogue - the oldest in the Americas - on our trip. Very interesting museum on site, sanctuary was beautiful,,we were invited to join the congregation for Friday Shabbat or Saturday morning services. Don't miss it-Jewish or not!

“Interesting and Friendly”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

Don't expect air but the fans are going and it catches nice breezes. Very interesting and very informative place. We are not Jewish but attended Shabbat and Bar Mitzvah. All were friendly and helpful.

“Nothing special”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

The synagogue is interesting. Information in the museum is poor. The history is reduced to the history of a few important families. Not many options in the store. USD 10 is too much for this museum.

“History”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

You don't need to be a Jewish to admire this place and its collection of old artifacts. Place is very small and its took us maybe half hour. All my family enjoyed this place.
