We stayed on Curacao in December. We had our doubts about our choice of hotel since there were mixed reviews of Hilton. I'm glad we decided to stay there, though.
We got a good deal on an Executive room in the 4th floor.(Had thought it would be in the 5th floor but didn't complain since our 4th floor room was nice and facing the ocean. What a view!)
The only unpleasant thing was the moldy smell in the room. One got used to it, though...
Executive lounge was nice, we had our light breakfast there and enjoyed reasonably priced drinks with lovely snacks there around sunset.
Captain Bligh's bar was also fun and we frequented the happy hour to enjoy the live music they had on every night.
The beaches were nice, we enjoyed snorkeling and seeing surprisingly many colorful fish in the water. The garden was also delightful. Miniature golf course was in very poor shape, though!
We also exercised in the gym daily, since it was too warm (for us) to jog.
Willemstad was not too far so we went there almost every day with the free minibus provided by the hotel.
So, all in all, Hilton was very good for a relaxing 6-night-vacation on Curacao. If I ever went back to Curacao (which I might or might not...) I could consider staying there again.More
