“Good service, reasonably good food, inexpensive”
Reviewed 29 September 2013

Soprano's was surprisingly good. We ended up going there one night partly out of laziness and partly out of a desire to save money. The food and service were better than expected.

Everything came out quickly, and the pizza was actually pretty good. The crust held up admirably underneath a pretty well topped Hawaiian pizza. The quality of ingredients was also at least above average.

The location is great, right at the edge of the Rif Fort. And for anyone staying at the Renaissance, this is a convenient, inexpensive, low-key meal.

I gave it four rather than five stars because nothing was about the place was exceptional, but everything was solidly good.

Recommended.

“overpriced ,poor service!”
Reviewed 19 July 2013

After shopping and heading back to the ship, we stopped here for what we thought would be a quick drink! It took 45 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Be careful there was no prices on the drink menu, and I feel they took advantage of our ship being in port! It was 75 american dollars for three cocktails and a diet soda! seriously! ask the prices first

“Only drinks!”
Reviewed 2 July 2013 via mobile

We stopped in after touring the Punda side. We loved sitting outdoors (indoor seating also available though) and relaxing with a couple of drinks. The Soprano's Piano Bar only serves pizza (varieties sounded delicious though). So we just enjoyed a couple of drinks and moved along to a restaurant for our meal. Great service, excellent margaritas with Blue Curaçao liqueur!!!!

“Great little spot”
Reviewed 30 June 2013

Ironically, we visited this little bar the week of James Gandolfini's death. It was a nice, small bar right int he Rif Fort. It was very close to the Renaissance. We tried a pizza and several drinks and were pleased. The also sell cigars inside. The servers were very friendly and the prices were reasonable. I would recommend this bar.

“This was easily the most fun we had on the island!!”
Reviewed 19 April 2013 via mobile

Me and me wife met 2 other couples and went here. We had amazing drinks and the live piano player was fun and taking requests. We all sang along at the top of our lungs and drank the night away. We had a good trip but this bar is the memory I will go away with for the rest of my life!!
