I have to say, we were really nervous about renting a car and driving to Shete Boka. There are no legible street signs but once you get on the right road you are on your way. Once you get to the park, there is an entrance fee but then you are free to walk or partially drive to all the different points. It is just gorgeous! The paths are rocky so flip flops are not the best choice for this activity! Unfortunately, the cavern was closed due to exceptionally strong waves. There is no shade so wear sun screen and know that you will be hot later in the day. There is a small snack shop with light lunch menu, water, soda and beer. They took US money also.
We continued to drive around to the western tip of the island and went to one of the beaches but I can't remember the name of it. I only remember it started with A. It was a clean sandy beach with the gorgeous blue green color that you expect the water to be. We snorkeled and soaked up some sun before heading back to the hotel as we wanted to be back before dark. They had pay toilets so we changed in the car. An excellent adventure.
