Description: Located in the historical district of Petermaai, Kome features a chef driven menu where worldly cooking techniques lay the foundation for the creative freedom Chef David and Pastry Chef Susan live for in the kitchen. The chefs cook things that make them happy, like homemade sausage, tasty sandwhiches, curry’s or stews; fried chicken, fresh bread, pie or something altogether surprising and new.

We made a reservation for two, two more friends showed up, the host made it work! The server was prompt, alert to our needs, and had knowledge of the menu. The food was cooked perfectly and the presentation was lovely. Kome also offers an international variety of beer and house designed cocktails. Kome would be a success in any part of the world, we're lucky to have it.

Last night we had dinner at Kome. Although we did not make a reservation and the place was packed we were allowed to wait at the bar for a table. Within 20 minutes they found us a spot in this very nice restaurant.

The menu looked very promising and as we were soon to find out: it was! We started with a sharing of three starters (humus, cooked peanuts and potato croquettes) and all three were very well prepared. We accompanied the food with the Hardy's Chardonnay which is the most expensive wine by the glass but well worth it.

Main-course was "catch of the day", tuna for my partner and I opted for the hanger steak. For the price of 39 guilders it was very good.

Only downside was the payment. Although the website explicitly states that American Express is accepted, they do not.

We have a home in Curacao and spend several months at a time there. This is by far our favorite restaurant. I almost hate to tell others about it since it will make it difficult to get in there next time. Everything about this restaurant is great. Service, atmosphere, and especially the food. Everything is first class. If you are visiting Curacao don't miss this place for a beautiful night out.

Nice atmosphere, attentive service and very well prepared food. The Brisket was melt-in-your mouth. As with many higher priced restaurants, the portions aren't huge, so plan to get a little extra. My husband and I shared the Kalamari appetizer, each had our own entree and shared a dessert with wine each; it was just enough.

We loved this restaurant from the food, the decor, and the service. We ended up going back a second night. On our first visit, I ordered brisket and it was the best I've ever had. We wend back on Tapas night, and every dish was wonderful. The drinks were great also.

It was just a pleasant experience and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
