The tapas and beer were great! The décor in this place is very cool, from the salt & pepper shakers lining the wall to the colorful bottles lining the bar. Very inviting, steady customers even at 4pm in the middle of the week!

Called and made New Year eve reservation for the family which they accepted. When we arrived, they told us they were closing early for the fireworks and the kitchen staff had left. Would have been nice if they knew that when they took the reservation.

I still can't figure out why the restaurant is called Salt and Pepper. Other than being possible ingredients to every food ever cooked on the planet, there's no significance. The food on the other hand deserves special mention. I had what was described as Caribbean Beef Stew. It was served with fried yellow plantains, rice and a crisp green salad. It's not your grandmother's beef stew. This concoction has a slight Middle Eastern twist that hits all the right notes. I highly recommend it. The other guests at my table had a light chicken noodle soup that apparently was just what the doctor ordered. The waitress was friendly and the food came before we began munching on the tablecloth.

Stopped to listen to the live music in rif fort. The tapas menu is limited and definitely over priced. The food was average. Mostly preying on cruise ship tourists.
