“Mexican food in the Caribbean?”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 March 2014

interesting café right on the waterfront close to a couple of the hotels where the divers stay. Very reasonable prices, food is cooked while you wait (just have a Kubuli or two). Small regular menu with daily specials, Closed Mon and Tues, open only in evening but does open earlier on weekend. We ate supper there 3 times during our 10 day stay. Owner on premises (and frequently in kitchen alongside chef) bring cash - no credit cards

“Best place in Citronier!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 March 2014

Zam Zam Cafe is one of my best place in Citronier! I really enjoy spending an afternoon drinking a rum punch or just a fruit juice on the beach with nice Reggae music. It is the perfect spot for a drink during sunset.
The food is also really good and the owner and the waitresses are extremely friendly.

“REOPENED AFTER THE GREAT FLOOD AND WOW!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 March 2014

They got hit by a double disaster in December 2013 with the Christmas Eve Mud/Flood Disaster, but they have come back BIGGER and BETTER with a new addition to the beach front area and a dramatically expanded menu. Great food, amazing ambiance at Sunset and delightful people make this a MUST STOP when you are in Dominica. Close to the Dive Centers and Hotels with a front that may seem rather subdued but when you walk through the door you will be amazed.

Tried to go for dinner but they have been closed since late December/early January. Not sure if they have plans to reopen.

“Hidden Gem on the Beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 November 2013

This is the kind of restaurant that people dream of opening up! It sits right on the ocean, is an open air building, has a chic yet natural setting and is home to some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. I believe the menu is in transition from a core of mexican to a more eclectic mix of entrees. Regardless of the transition, the food was very good (buritto was pastry like and heavenly!). The drinks were very stout and worth every penny (so stout our wifes ended up skinny dipping in the ocean!). Our favorite part of the restaurant was the small sitting area down by the ocean. It was the pefect place to end your day and watch the sun dip into the ocean. Kudos to Tom and his wife for carving out a little slice of paradise on Dominica.
