did a quick trip overnighted here a few months ago. not sure about all rooms, but the one i stayed in, was a little on the dirty side, not comapable to u.s. resorts. windows dont seal, big gaps under doors. but hey, its third world. people, were very friendly and laid back, has quick access to the beach, and short walk to main street, where you can exchange money, buy cigars or trinkets. seemed to be alot of europeans there having a good time. buffet/restaurant, was amazing and many pools/bars thruout the resort. security was tight, so no worries about safety, or being harrassed while on the resort compound.
