We arrived at the Riu Palace Macao for a weeks' stay. This is
our 3rd time in Punta Cana, all at different locations. Elvis did
a thorough job of checking us in and was helpful. We enjoyed
a lovely tropical drink brought to us during the process.
Our main objective for this vacation was to relax and the hotel and grounds were the perfect place. The beach is vast and staff attendents bring lounge chairs and pads to you. There are plenty of tall palms around so there is a chance for both sun and shade. We spent the days on the beach and late afternoon headed toward the pool for a swim and a drink.
The food and service were excellent. The "El Patio" buffet had lots of choices and we ate all our dinners, but one there. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, but the shower and tub were very small. Overall our stay was wonderful.More
