“Mixed cuisine”
Reviewed 23 August 2014 via mobile

Came here for dinner when we got tired of eating and hanging out at our resort. Checked out the nearby mall first (not worth a visit) and then stopped by. They had all sorts of dishes - Italian, Japanese sushi, and dominican. We decided to try something authentic to the dominican culture so went with the waitresses recommendation - mufungo. I got the pork one and hubby got the chicken one. Pork was marbled with a lot of fat - might be a good thing culturally but we found most of the pork in edible. The chicken was good. Mufungo itself was good just not my taste. Sushi was phenomenal tasting. Dessert - tres leche- a cake with cream on top (not creme caramel as waitress advertised) was decent too. Service superb and outdoor seating very relaxing and enjoyable.

“Our Driver Brought us Here”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

Asked our driver to take us to authentic Dominican Restaraunt on our last night, he brought us here. Looks beautiful on the inside but service was somewhat slow and the food was very expensive in US-- entree with drink for $50 per person (with small portions) and it was not even as great as Cheesecake Factory (I would rate CF as maybe 3-4 stars). We had all inclusive at hotel, so we went back and ate dinner AFTER we had dinner here. Disappointing for the money it costs, and each taxi driver has a business card. On the back of our driver's card (which we noticed at the end of the night) was the logo of Noah. So I am guessing they pay him each time he brings tourists there. No Dominican Food here either... felt a tad tricked.

“Venture a bit more outside the village and hotel”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

Nice Dominican restaurant. However, not typical Dominican food. Think of the restaurant as a restaurant that Dominicans go to. There is a very varied menu with something for anyone.

Great thin pizza, pasta, and steaks. Creative appetizers. Sit inside or out.

“Nice restaurant/lounge”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

I had the shrimp and baby lobster risotto. The portion was a good size and it was good. We sat inside to avoid the mosquitos.
