Not a great selection of shops or restaurants for tourists. We found ourselves waiting around for the bus home to arrive.
There is still construction going on so I expect it will be better in time to come.

10 % of reviewers can never be satisfied, too bad!
The shopping center was about a 15 minute drive from our hotel, not sure if it was 15 or $20 each way, but we told our taxi to come back in an hour and a half, and he was waiting for us.
There's a Pizza Hut out front, and a Wendys?
We went there for the supermarket, had the absolute best prices without having to haggle. Many little souvenir kiosks, and we found a shop in doors that I actually had a sort of clearance center, we were getting keychains for two dollars, and single pieces Laramar jewelry for four and five dollars. Probably save ourselves $50 there alone

Small place with not many stores worth looking at. Nothing authentic and the price were very high. Not worth the time.

We went there on a couple hour trip and were very satisfied with everything thing. You had stores to buy suitcases if you needed, lots of swim suit stores and beach accessories, sports stores, designer stores, movie theater, mobile phone sim card purchases ( must have passport though) 30$ 3 gigs, souvenir stores, outlet on top, and an excellent super market to stock up on supplies (sunblock is much cheaper than at the resorts), food, snacks, medicines, detergents, fruits and lots more at very reasonable prices. There are also restaurants around if you are hungry. Taxi ride from hotel for two people 25$.

I liked that the resort provided free transportation to the mall. Most of stores wanted US $$ except the supermercado which I loved. You can get your groceries your liquor and your Presidente of course. There are a variety of stores & you can get really nice reasonable souvenirs cheaper than the airport for sure . If you need to exchange money there is a bank to the right of the grocery store just make sure you have your passport and the 3 stamps on your business ticket to get returned to the resort. I like shopping so when I go back I'm going to this mall again
