My husband, seven year old daughter, and I just got back from the Reserve at Punta Cana, and had a fabulous trip. Our trip started with the most wonderful and sweet family concierge, Estefania Ruiz. She was great with my daughter, and always available to answer any questions we had. She also made reservations for us the first day, at a different restaurant each night. Our favorite restaurant was Bana, and the staff, Cinthia Cambero and Rosmery Raysmery, made the experience so memorable, and the food was amazing. Speaking of the food, we started every morning with an exceptional breakfast buffet at the Gabi club, greeted by Candida Pacheco. The staff, Wandy Zapota, Santo Frias, and Johairo Mejio R. were exceptional, and always wanting to make your dining experience a pleasurable one. Santo surprised me one morning and made the best strawberry smoothie ever! We also enjoyed swimming in the pool every day, and loved seeing Angelica Raymoso at the club house. She greeted us with a smile, and would chat with my daughter, teaching her more Spanish each day. There were activities at the poolside daily at 3pm, with either Fabio Vasquez, Alexander Lopez Angelica, and Noell. We painted a beach scene, made a purse, aqua spinning, and also learned about the Dominican culture. The life enrichment staff knew our names, and always greeted us with smiles and a friendly face. My daughter especially loved the kids zone, and painting and making cookies with Elizabeth. My daughter was crying when we had to leave, and the bell boy, Hazael Reyes, was so sweet to her and tried to make her smile. The staff truly made our experience the most memorable family trip, and we are hoping to return again soon.

We have just returned from a fabulous week at the above resort with my sister and brother in law. My husband and I have owned Timeshare for the past 26 years so we have travelled extensively using RCI. I must say, this resort is by far the best one we have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. No long line ups, no waiting. They sat us down in an air conditioned room (which was great as the humidity hits you in the face as soon as you get out of the airplane), gave us a drink and then proceeded to giving us our room keys. By the time we got to our room (which was amazing), our luggages were already there waiting for us. The room as spacious and beautifuly decorated with a private bedroom enclosed by sliding french doors and a jacuzzi tub) Every building has its own "concierge" who helps you book your dinner reservations, tours and golfing times. We were lucky to have the best one on the resort........Iris Soriano in building 42 and 43. If you can, ask for one of these buildings as its the best ones on the resort. The grounds of The Reserve are spectatular. Lush and incredibly clean. The canapy beds by the pool are amazing and the pool itself is outstanding. We never had "battle of the chairs" as this part of the resort is much quieter then at the "Paradisus" part. The service around the pool was also spectacular. Jose De Lo Santos is amazing! Always greeting us with a huge smile and made sure to come around every 10 - 15 minutes. The overall service at The Reserve is beyond our wildest expectation. We truly got our moneys worth. You can upgrade to the "Royal Service" but its not necessary. The pool at the Reseve is much much nicer and bigger and the service was already amazing so no need to spend more money for Royal Service. Most of the restaurants are A La Carte which is nice, but personally I don't need "high-end" meals every night so I had wished there were more "regular" style restaurants on the Reserve. There is also a lack of nightlyl entertainment and the so called "casino" isn't much of a casino at all. If you are looking for night life, this may not be the place for you - but if you are looking for a quiet vacation then it's perfect! You can always venture over to the Paradisus resort for more things to see and do. They had shuttles running often to take you down to the beach area so that wasn't a problem. We had our own "private" beach area for the Reserve guests only which was very nice....and they had amazing beds on the beach as well. This resort offers nothing but sheer luxury. There were young families around, but they mostly hung out by the "kiddie pool" so the main pool was very quiet with mostly adults.
A HUGE THANK YOU to IRIS SORIANO for making this vacation an excellent one for us. We are hoping to return one day.

Room Tip: Higher floors are quieter and buidling 42/43 is the best at The Reserve. Close to everything

Recently spent my honeymoon at The Reserve and the resort was beautiful. However, the service was terrible. My air conditioner was not working properly for the entire stay and when asked to be moved there was nothing that could be done. Also, all the places to go such as the popular restaurants, main lobby, and the beach were located on Paradisus and required a train ride to the other resort which was a very long wait. There were times in which my wife and I were waiting nearly 30 minutes for a train. Would not recommend at all.

Room Tip: Do not stay at the reserve.

The Reserve at Paradisus Punta Cana is literally paradise in a magnificent setting complete with Eco gardens in which you can travel from one part of the property to another. The employees at the main concierge at the Reserve are extremely attentive and knowledgeable. Upon entering you are transformed into a paradise complete with magnificent floral gardens surrounding a large, beautiful pool. The employees at the Reserve concierge in each respective building are equally as gracious, attentive and knowledgeable about the resort. The suites are comfortable and complete with modern amenities. It was a pleasure to walk around the resort and explore the grounds. The trams were extremely helpful and arrived in a timely manner. Walking to the beach was very pleasant as you walk or travel via tram through the eco gardens hearing music emanating from the fauna and smell sweet incense. As you enter the beach area you encounter the white sand and turquoise water, leaving you breathless. There are ample restaurants to eat, although I would recommend the hotel offer more local, Dominican cuisine.
A special thank you to Mindy at the main reserve concierge, Yuri, Ada and Anabel at the concierge in the building in which I stayed, Candida, my namesake, who greeted me every morning at Gabi club for breakfast, and José at the pool area who is extremely gracious and attentive. Also a thank you to all the staff at the reserve pool and beach areas and the staff at the individual restaurants. The Reserve at Paradisus Punta Cana entices you to visit again and again, although it is the graciousness and beauty of the Dominican staff that ensure that you enjoy yourself and return for future visits.

My fiancé and I decided to vacation in Punta Cana and found the Reserve at Paradisus to have great reviews, and we were not disappointed . Our concierge Anabel Gonzalez was delightful and helped us with every request. It really is a slice of heaven for couples. The entertainment like dancers, shows, disco night, were all great. There is never a lack of things to do, and the best thing about the trip was meeting the friendly staff and learning their culture. Everyone in the Paradisus Reserve is super friendly . The only thing I would upgrade is the transportation ...long waits for trolleys to the beach and back.
