We've been there for almost a week! and I just can say it was awesome! The food, the staff, the rooms, the pool, everything was beyond expectations! Since our arival we felt like we were at home, Pedro, Saskya, Ive ( who actually saved me from a Migraine), Hector OF COURSE!, santigo and Inoncencio at the pool! one thing we know for sure is that we've found our favorite hotel! I will definetely go back!!! 100% reccomend it!More
The Alsol Del Mar was beautiful exceptionally clean and the service staff was amazing!! It was a peaceful resort with some scheduled activities and if looking for more it's sister resort was a quick walk next door..!! 5 Star ++ We would reccomend it to others and visit again.

I cannot express enough gratitude and love to the staff of Alsol del Mar. Hector Torres & Saskya along with all the staff made my wedding week for myself, husband and guests one to forever remember. I will admitt communication was hazy during the last year of planning but they strived to execute everything on my wish list & make us happy. We also had an issue with an outside catamaran company and Saskya along with Scarlet helped to resolve that issue for us. Our room was beautiful & room service was impeccable. We all had a blast at the pool with open bar and music. Hector was able to execute our sun rise wedding to perfection & evening reception. The chefs did an amazing job with all the food & we are so happy we booked the fire dancers for added entertainment. Ryan & I will definitely come back as loyal patrons & our family and friends plan on visiting again too. We completely recommend this hotel for anyones dream

Alsol Del Mar was everything we were looking for and more. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was breathtaking and the rooms... All I have to say is WOW! The only thing that we would have liked to seen is a menu that offered more local cuisine. Never the less, We enjoyed every minute of our stay and we are definitely coming back.

We found a special advertised in the Wash Post in June so we booked a 1 bed/1.5 bath & couldn’t believe how large the room was when we entered. Huge terrace with table & 4 chairs, 2 reclining lounges, large Jacuzzi overlooking the sea, pool & gardens. Our unit, 2202A, had a full kitchen with dishwasher and a washer & dryer, and free wi-fi. The units were previously condos known as Sottogrande before converting to Alsol Del Mar in Dec 2013.
We did the AI package which we highly recommend as it included all food & drink and the resort is pretty remote. Manuel Monplaisir, the chef, prepared some excellent dishes for us. Everything was fresh and cooked to order unlike many large resorts. I love ceviche and ADM had the best I’ve ever eaten, which I enjoyed daily for lunch.
The staff can’t do enough for you and are always professional and pleasant. Even though AI, we like to tip so bring plenty of $5’s and $1’s as the staff works hard and they don’t have change onsite. Special thanks to Sandro, Geraldino, Miquel, Mikael, Karen & Soskya (and forgive me as I know I’m forgetting others); they were all wonderful with sincere smiles & a genuine willingness to make your stay a very pleasant experience.
The entire property is kept extremely clean – our room was spotless. The large (good for laps), beautiful pool is clean and water crystal clear. Visited Sanctuary, the sister property, twice for dinner. Beautiful flora & gardens, but the layout doesn’t lend itself to the breezes felt at ADM.
Contact concierge before your trip to arrange taxi pick-up at airport.
BTW, taxi rides through-out the Cap Cana gates are $3, including Juanillo Beach and Cap Cana Marina.
We’ve been to Iberostar Grand Bavaro, which has a much nicer beach, more activities & entertainment, but we prefer Alsol. The room size, large terrace with gorgeous view, & quiet atmosphere was very relaxing and seemed more exclusive. If your primary objective is a gorgeous beach, this isn’t the place for you as you’ll be disappointed. If you want a relaxing holiday with lovely accommodations and a beautiful view, then I would recommend ADM. We will return.

Great place to go and actually relax .Its not crowded So you you get attended to wonderfully , with beautiful views and breathtaking suites but at the same time homey. There are two restaurants in this resort but with a lot of variety the food is fantastic and fresh. I highly recommend the fish bocachica style (trust me I'm a foodie). I would highly recommend this resort it's one of the best capcana has. Enjoy
