the waves did it for us! usual rum punch and Caribbean lunch followed by crashing about in the wild surf on a lovely beach, which made it a great afternoon for us. Beer and cocktails then coffee/dessert finsihed us off - perfect

Heard about this place and finally got to try it. We went for dinner and could see a little of the beach in the full moon. Great atmosphere for island dining. All 4 in our party really enjoyed our meals. The only negative would be my shrimp were a little tough which is usually a sign they are over cooked. Otherwise, everything was very good and flavorful. The price is on par with other restaurants of this caliber. Dinner for 4, a bottle of wine, we all had dessert and including the tip it was under $50.00 per person. Wouldn't rule out a return visit, but maybe not before trying some other places first.

The location is pretty, by an immaculate beach with abundent snorkelling.

The place itself is a bit dark and tired in places, but done up in others. Bit of a curates egg therefore.

The food is pretty normal stuff, not bad, but not vibrant which is what its all about in Grenada. Portions are large but a bit crude. For example barbecueed chicken appears to be oven baked with a heavy layer of bbq sauce.

The fish was very blue. All fish needs to be cooked carefully, but if it isnt sushi, its supposed to be cooked..

The hotel is at the down an unmade road behindthe airport. at the foot of a 45% inclined road. Guests with limted mobility should have the taxi drop them at the foot of the slope and enter through the service entrance. The German owner is an excellent 'mine host' and usually gets to speak to each table during the course of the meals. The food is excellent, interesting dishes, well presented and size of theportions is just right.

We have been twice in successive years and there is a 'but'. On both occasions the service was rather slow - not just relaxed, but slow! The staff were forgetful, forgetting to bring water when requested and a l-o-n-g wait for our meal to start. The prices are high but quite appropriate for the quality of food that they serve.

We went to the Aquarium 2 times while in Grenada.
The first time we went was on a Wednesday at lunch time. We had a lovely table overlooking the water. The service was excellent. They treated us very well. The food was top notch. We were not rushed at all and felt very comfortable. Each dish was stunning. Presented beautifully.
It was a lovely experience. One of the people with us was celebrating a birthday and they made it special for him!!!
The second time we went we were not as thrilled. But that is only because we like a more quiet peaceful setting. The buffet BBQ was not as good as ordering off the menu. At least that is how we felt. The meat from the BBQ was delicious!!! The buffet part for the rest of it was not as good.
The service was rushed. Not as friendly. But in their defense, the restaurant was packed and they were doing the best they could.
They have music playing. People are dancing. You can snorkel or swim and then shower off, dress and then have dinner.
We would definitely go back to this restaurant, but would go on a quieter day.
