“Great views and cannons”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 June 2013

Well worth the exhausting walk up the steps that are located near the Sendall Tunnel which is just down the road from the cruise terminal. It has an entrance fee of $US2. The old colonial fort has an interesting collection of cannons and a few dilapidated buildings. This damage was caused by the last hurricane and a fire. The remaining usable buildings are now used by the Royal Grenadan Police Force as their Training Headquarters so do not be surprised if you encounter the odd local ‘Bobby’ doing his keep fit routines and ablutions! However, the views of Saint Georges, the Carenage, Grand Anse Beach and surrounding area are well worth the effort.

“Spectacular view of St. George city”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 June 2013

Entrance is $2 per person but well worth it. The view is spectacular of the bay and the city. The site is now in police services so some of the buildings are actually in use.
