It was very exciting when we found out a new restaurant opened in Grande Anse... there are not many things to do around here at time :) so we decided to go there for dinner. From the moment we walked in we already started losing interest. The restaurant had no AC and was very hot and humid and on top of everything, there was a persistent toilet smell. There were only 4 customers (2 couples), us included, in the restaurant and yet no one realized we had sat down at a table for about 10 min. During that time another couple walked in, and left shortly. When we were finally noticed the person brought us menus and just left, we came to realize later that she did not speak any English. A man what appeared to be the owner/cook/waiter emerged and asked us for your order, he was struggling with English as well, but hey.. .as long as the food is good. The other couple got their order and since there's no ventilation in the establishment, one can only imagine the smell that engulfed the room. Finally we had received our drinks and our food. :( Unfortunately neither of us could really eat the food, one of the dishes ordered were simply 2 spring rolls, they were slightly burned and very oily, and the other dish, spare ribs, were waaayyy too salty and bland. We brought them home to our dog, who got sick the next day, :( . Before we left, I decided to go wash my hands in the bathroom, all I have to say is eeeeewwwww. I am never going back there again, unless they clean up their act. For a new restaurant they sure didn't look like they working hard to keep and maintain a clientele.
