We were promptly met at the cruise port by Ian, and suprised to find out that there were only 4 of us on teh tour. Thsi tunred out to be brilliant as we got ask so many questions and really get an understadning of how life on teh island really is. Ian was wonderful and happy to answer all question about any topic at all.
It was lovely to hear about why he came to Grenada and decided to stay and how families and society works there. Every where we went everyone knew him. He was just so lovely.
Grenada as an island was fascinating, and such a wonderful culture. was great to see all the working stations for nutmeg, rum, chocolate etc.

Belmost Estate put on a wonderful lunch in a fabulous setting, and hearing about how the estate has supported the community makes you happy to help out as a tourist by eating there.

The island is beautiful and i loved all the greenery of the rainforests. Apparently a lot of it is still not recovered after the hurricanes so I can only imagine how lush it was before.

I highly recommend this compnay - we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and felt we walked away with a wonderful understanding of the country and its people. We saw so much in one day but it never felt rushed or too much. I didnt want the day to end.

I went on this tour as I had not been to a couple of places that they visit, and wanted to see them. After being picked up and a couple of stops at local hotels, we drove through the carenage and up the west coast road stopping at Concord Waterfall, the nutmeg processing station, up to The Grand Etang lake, all the time being given brilliant information, by the tour guide. We finished up at Fort Mathew to see the sunset and a refreshment stop.

We chose this tour after 2 other popular island tour companies failed to return my emails. When we got off the ship we had directions to meet our driver. Very easy to find. We had a nice small group with only 6 people including us. Carl was our driver. He was very nice and informative. The tour starts out with mostly driving around the island. Along the way Carl pointed out where we were and different types of plants. Pretty amazing how many things are grown on this island. We stopped at the nutmeg processing plant. They were not working that day, but we still had a guide explain the process to us. We had lunch at the Belmont Plantation, which was nice. The servers were so polite! We saw how cocoa beans were processed and were able to buy some chocolates at the Grenada Chocolate Factory. We went to a lake inside an old volcano, where Carl fed the fish bread. We went up to the rainforest and saw a rainfall and also went to a really old rum distillery. There was a lot packed into this tour. Grenada is a pretty island. Very lush with lots of flowers. Thanks Carl for the enjoyable experience!!

Glen handled the tour, providing lots of information. We took the "tutti fruity" tour that ran about 7 hours and were never bored.

All totally excellent! Good service, on time, clean vehicles and the Tobago Keys is out of this world - a truly amazing day and well worth every penny. If you're in any doubt don't be - just bite the bullet and go or you'll regret it. Swimming with turtles is the most amazing experience and I didn't want to leave. Thank you so much Sunsation Tours. My daughter and I shared an incredible two weeks on and around Grenada for her 18th birthday and you were a big part of the experience that is never to be forgotten.
