We needed a one night stop over whilst attending a friend's wedding and decided to be adventurous and book the log cabin. We were made to feel very welcome and were shown down a grassy path to the cabin by the stream in the woods. The interior was very nicely decorated and fitted with nice pine furniture. We had everything we needed including fresh milk (!!!) and breakfast on the veranda in the morning sunshine was a real treat! We also met the delightful resident horses, pigs, ducks, chickens and sheep. It was a perfect little hideaway and made our weekend extra special - I felt like the fairy at the bottom of the garden!

Lovely place, people and location. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice peaceful break away from it all. Our stay was 'topped off' by a soak in the hot tub under a clear Welsh sky, Milky Way in full view!

We needed somewhere to stay whilst visiting my pony at the Bitless Bridle Equestrian Centre and we had such a fab time here. The whole family made us feel very welcome and at home; we were even greeted by the ducks and chickens. We stayed in the log cabin and it was so relaxing! We had breakfast on the veranda over looking the stream and it was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. thank you for letting us in to your beautiful home :) highly recommended!!

Needed a place to stay to pick up a puppy from nearby kennels the following day- Lovely warm welcome from eve,mel and the boys- delightful, polite and helpful boys- the barn was a treat and as it was feb was very cold but it was no problem fo mel to put large iron gas fire in the room (despite many steps down from house)- so was lovely and cosy.Lovely peaceful breakfast and wandered around taking pics of ponies, ducks, chickens and the horses led by the boys with provided wellies !!! Would definitely recommend for a romantic getaway or an overnight stay with a lot more to offer than a traditional bed and breakfast at no extra cost-here's to trying the log cabin next !

Room Tip: the logcabin for a romantic getaway - the barn for a unique b and b experience or for two couple s or for a family of four with self catering if desired

Just needed somewhere to sleep after a day househunting. Eve and Melvyn were more than accommodating.

We stayed in the log cabin which is bed and breakfast only. Very relaxing with the sound of the stream running past the cabin.

Breakfast was a treat, with the sun streaming down we ate on the verandah area. Eve and Melvyn couldn’t have made it any more special if they had tried. Beautifully laid table and plenty to eat and copious amounts of hot coffee.

Perfect little spot to unwind after a stressful day. So much so we have booked to go back and spend the evening in the self catering lodge.

Ideal if you want some peace and quiet. Eve and Melvyn even offered some suggestions with our house hunting.
