“Lovely islands, bay with a great town”
Reviewed 15 February 2014 via mobile

We arrived on a catamaran and picked up a town mooring. 18 euros for 2 nights. There were plenty of docks to tie the dingy. Town is charming nice shops great food and wonderful atmosphere. It's the French meditaranin. Walk to a few great beaches or rent scooters. Food and good wine are plentiful. We loved Le Genois for dinner. The harbor was lovely and safe. What a great place for boaters and tourists.
Enjoy.

We loved our time in Les Saintes. Come prepared to walk, eat awesome seafood, speak French and drink Ti Punch.

“The best of Guadeloupe”
Reviewed 8 February 2014

We should've stayed here a week. Yes there wouldn't have been a lot to do other than wander about the island, go to the beach, diving and just chilling out but we only stayed for two days :(.

“One of the most beautiful bay”
Reviewed 31 December 2013

Ranked 3rd most beautiful bay in the world after Along and Acapulco (Rio has been downrated due to pollution). Looks very nice when arriving with the boat. Nice little streets and very beautiful places to take pictures.
Advice: book a mini-bus tour of the island with "Fred" (phone: 0690361710) since the chap is very friendly (not sure he speaks english though), takes the time to stop for you to take the best pictures, gives lots of insights and little stories, and best of the best, brings you at the end of the tour to the Plage de pompierre (best of the island) and will pick you up at the time you desire to bring you back to the center and get back to your boat. All this for only 10eur (while other tours just drive you for 2h and then drop you in the center at lunch time with no beach nearby and no way to rent a scooter or anything by then...)
