We had a pleasant family gathering and a lot of fun activities from this residence touristique near Ste. Anne. The house is clean, attractive, quiet, and comfortable.
Good air conditioning and darkening shades make for good sleep. A nearby market and boulangerie is good for breakfast and lunches, and the hostess, Viviane, recommends good and reasonable places for dinner--one gives her guests a complimentary Ti punch. Viviane also makes a Chicken Colombe (curry) and Planter's punch for those who arrive tired and late, and provides coffee and breakfast cake for the first morning. She is not fluent in English, but has enough English as well as a strong desire to help to communicate effectively with guests who have un peu de Francais. She knows the island and can probably guide you to the activity you're looking for.
The residence is not right on the beach, but about a 15 minute walk--most people drive there. WiFi and hot water can be intermittent. Ste. Anne locatioin can put a lot of traffic in the way of where you are going, but Viviane can help with a way around.
