Christine and her family were fantastic hosts. They have a house, pool, and two one-bedroom bungalows that they rent out to tourists. Everything was done very professionally. The grounds are beautiful. The bungalows are a bit sparse, but have what you need. It's a great value for the price. There is a small kitchenette and sofa in the living area, a dining table outside, a small but usable bathroom, and a small bedroom. The area is in a very nice subdivision of St Anne overlooking the city. Christine and her family don't speak much english, but that was fine - we got by with our pigeon French.
Staying in Sainte Anne is recommended for exploring Grande-Terre. You are close to Gosier, St Francois, Pointe des Châteaux, and all the amazing beaches.
Small improvements: it would have been nice to have access to wifi from the bungalow, instead of having to walk to the pool area. It also would have been nice to have beach towels so that we didn't have to dirty our shower towels.
Overall, I definitely recommend this bungalow.
