“An interesting visit”
Reviewed 15 June 2012

We were taken here by Reggae tours though we could look across at it from our hotel. Only a small fort but an interesting place to visit with canon in place.

“interesting”

Our taxi driver took us here for a visit. Nice to see. Hopefully one day it will get the funding to become a major attraction.

“Not much here, difficult to rate.”
Reviewed 21 February 2012

If you're looking for a non-touristy attraction, you can't get a much more non-touristy (and downright forgotten) place than Ft. Charlotte. At one point, there was a gift shop and museum, now there's just the decaying ruins of that and the fort. I stumbled upon this place while doing some research and combined it in a day trip with a few other sites. There's a great view of the harbor from this colonial relic, along with some old cannons, but mind your step pretty much everywhere since it seems like it will crumble into the water at any time. Probably a nice spot for photographers en route to somewhere else, but I don't see it drawing a mainstream crowd.
