“Boring Boring Boring”
Reviewed 28 March 2012

You can choose to go in the bath for 20 or 40 minutes. but thats just it. The water is hot and all that but it gets boring after a while. It needs some soft music and inside each of the bath area needs some decorations and lighting to create a spa ambiance feel and look.

“Ask for Rasta Steve & Henry to get the best treatment”
Reviewed 10 February 2012

Bath Fountain Hotel & SPA is one of the Attractions you should go if you are a massage & SPA Freak who wants to experience something different.

The Hotel itself offers basic standard rooms, nothing very special but ok. The food was lovely as the staff - everybody was very accommodating and even the chef stayed overtime to cook for us as we arrived late - 6 PM

The drive up to Bath - is fun and you have to be an experienced Pot Hole Driver but it is worth to drive into the rain forest - the vegetation is amazing and the surrounding will pay for everything anyhow.

We organized Rasta Steve and Henry for 4 Persons to be guided up to the hot springs and got a treatment for over an hour - the money requested is worth every penny.

Go there and you will have fun - it's a trip where I recommend to stay over night at the Hotel and make the treatment early in the morning - best time 7 AM and go for Breakfast afterwards.

Enjoy your treatment

Things to have with you - are 2 Bath towels per person, Swim shoes and a camera to make pictures for a treatment of a lifetime

First of all, this place is almost three (3) hours away from Kingston. It is in a parish called St. Thomas.

“A little piece of paradise.”
Reviewed 9 December 2011

This attraction is generally referred to as St. Thomas Bath by Jamaicans. The small hotel and spa is owned and operated by the Jamaican government and dates back to the 1700's. In it's heyday people used to travel by sailing ship from as far off as Europe as it was widely held that it's waters had curative powers for rheumatic and other conditions. It is tucked away deep in the Jamaican countryside and you have to really want to go there as it takes an effort. The accomodation is somewhat Spartan and a throw back to a past era. If you want 5 star this is not the place. But if you want out of the way, rustic and rural with good, inexpensive local food then this is a good choice. The baths are either Roman style or jacuzzi depending on your taste. Rooms average about U.S.$50. a night per couple and are worth it. Avoid the hustlers and drive straight in to the hotel. Have nothing to do with the hustlers who will lie to you and try to encourage you to bath at the riverside at rates several times higher than staying at the hotel.
