We were fortunate to be able to stay here on a vacation in March of this year, traveling with a large group. It was our fiirst trip to Jamaica so we were not certain what to expect. This resort is really beautiful! We stayed in one of the private villas which came with a butler, housekeeper, cook, and private pool. The villa was huge and extremely clean. The entire facility is very luxurious. We enjoyed the resort and took a side trip snorkeling off a catamaran (which I would highly recommend) but never really felt safe leaving the resort. There are 12 foot walls around the entire 400 acres, with guards at every gate, so inside the resort is very safe.
Tips: visit the store in the little shopping plaza to stock your villa with snacks and drinks, they had the best prices. Don't miss dinner at the sugar mill, it was incredible and worth every penny. The resort has a free shuttle to get there. Finally, the spa at the resort was truly an amazing experience. Be sure to try at least one of their sessions: very professional and friendly staff!
