“Favourite attraction in Jamaica”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2014

This is a peace of heaven. We made our own way their instead of an organised trip. It took about 15 minutes from Montego Bay. In contrast to Dunns River, this is so quiet and relaxed. We arrived and went to pay - $50 US or $6500 JD per raft. The grounds are lovely with Miss Martha herb garden and a few craft stalls that aren't expensive. We had Captain 69 - Upton - and he was very informative, telling us about the wildlife as we went. There are little shacks as you go down the river where locals sell towels, hats and drinks such as red stripe and you can pull in to pick these up. We also asked if we could get off for a swim as it was very hot when not in the shade of the trees. It was lovely to swim next to the raft and have a cool down. We did not see another raft when on the rover so it felt like there was no else about. It is a 3 mile trip and takes about 45 minutes. anyone of any age can do this trip. Highly recommend it.

“Tranquil..”

Lovely peaceful raft ride down the Martha Brae. The river is beautiful; our guide pointed out lots of different bird life and information whilst we flowed down the river. We went on a saturday when no cruise ships were in so we were the only couple on the river which was very romantic and meant we did not get hassled from the stalls on the river banks. Take a camera and your guide will take photos for you. Would definitely recommend for a nice relaxing excursion and not far from Montego Bay.

This was an excellent trip. Our guide, Laurel was lovely. It was very peaceful if it's good enough for the Queen to go on it's good enough for us.

“Peace”

It is a very peaceful and beautiful river. Being punted down the river for over an hour was so relaxing. I loved it and it is the second time that I have been.
