Its every Friday from 7pm - 10 pm. Food was ok. Not much variety. Not to pricey but I would definitely give it one more try

I am at a loss why this restaurant has scored so low on this list. It is an absolutely wonderful location with a 'chill' laid back Caribbean vibe. None of the overbearing noise and touristy corniness of similar beach venues.

My husband was happy that the bar had flat screen tv's so he could catch up on his soccer games!

The food was great as well and the bar, well Everol our bartender took great care of us and Glen was very accomodating.

Definitely a place we'll visit on our next trip and will tell all our friends as well!

We were dropped at Doctor's Cave Beach by the recommendation of the bus driver and we immediately wandered over to the Sand Bar. We were very impressed with their food, staff and prices. Extremely reasonable for a tourist location. We ordered a sampler plate which was delicious with their Jerk sauce and had a few Red Stripes. Staff was very courteous and attentive. Also they have Wi-Fi so we were very happy hanging out here for a while.

We went to doctors cave beach following the dolphin swim excursion through carnival. It was recommended that eat here and it was the only restaurant on the beach that we could see. 2 ships were in port and the beach was super crowded. The restaurant had a difficult time keeping up with demand and charged premium prices for food that was just ok. We finished it all though, because at this point we were ready to eat our shoes. For all of the "Jamaican jerk" talk... The jerk chicken was not all that. To do again, I'd look for something else.

This is a pretty obvious choice if you go to Doctors Cave for a day of sun and swim. I can't compare to other restaurants in the area, but we had and excellent lunch here. The jerked chicken was extremely tasty and the shrimp was pretty good.

The place is kind of simple, some tables on boardwalk and some umbrellas: nothing special, but the view over the beach and the mountains in the back is enough for me. This a simple place to have some Jamaican food with Red Stripe beer (wait with the cocktails for later) and then go and have some sun. Ah, the place is not cheap. Usual tourist prices set in accordance with the visitor, not the place (main course $18).
