My wife and I are seasoned world travelers and have had the privilege of staying in some of the world’s finest hotels, resorts and villas. That said, Scotch on the Rocks was the most enjoyable property we have ever visited.
Our stay at the villa was January 19th through the 26th. The villa itself was stately and elegant. Located between Sandals Plantation and the Jamaica Inn in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the villa is situated on one of the most beautiful waterfront properties in all of Jamaica. The interior and exterior décors are tastefully done. The villa is well maintained with beautiful gardens throughout the property. The true magic, however, was the staff. Bryan, Elvis, Ms. Cherry and Pat did everything in their power to make sure we had a great vacation. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. There was no room for want.
We did a number of excursions on this trip that are worth noting. Dunns River Falls was a blast. Dolphin Cove was a great experience. The Coyaba Gardens and Waterfall Bike Tour was a disappointment. Finally, we had dinner at Tortellini’s, which is the top rated restaurant in the Ocho Rios area. Service was very slow, wine selection was poor and the food was just okay.
Will I stay at Scotch on the Rocks again? You bet.
