We travel all over the world and never return anywhere but we will definitely will return here!

The rooms are old but very well maintained and immaculate!

We stayed in G-04 and loved it! We were above the waterfall and ocean and had breakfast on our balcony every morning with the beautiful view!

Peaceful and restful is what we found in our room location.

Food was great, au natural side was lovely and offered lots of space...not confining as other resorts are.

Activities and excursions also offered and paid for by the hotel were great and the on site activities too were very good.

Got some beautiful photos taken by the Photo staff and bought a bunch!

Thanks to Mr. Battaglia (manager) for having the most wonderful staff!

We will return...Can't wait!

This was our second stay at this resort and this trip was even better than the first.

Transfer-arrived at Couples Lounge at airport and transfer left within 15 minutes. One couple had to go to the bathroom mid-trip, so we did have one stop.

Check-in- Friendly, quick, and efficient- room ready after a few minutes (Arrived at resort 1:30).

Room- we stayed in a One Bedroom Ocean View room (G14). The room was large and comfortable with a fantastic balcony and fabulous view of the ocean. We knew going in that the rooms are dated but they are kept very clean. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Food- Food at all restaurants were great. There was always plenty to eat and a reasonable amount of choices. Our meal at Cassanova was amazing. The repeaters dinner was also incredible! Room service is a good addition, however selection is limited. Loved having breakfast on our patio in the morning. Drinks were plentiful and the staff was always willing to refill and refill. Our one disappointment was the Starlight Gala. Due to overcast weather, this was moved inside. We were put in the "banquet hall" for this dinner. It was like being at a wedding reception-very disappointing.

Spent most of our time at the AN beach. Everyone there is so friendly (staff and guests). Food at lunch at the AN Beach was limited but acceptable. Nice not having to leave. Beach on that side is incredible but could use some more palapas. Unfortunately, guests were saving loungers with their towels often not coming down all day to use the loungers.

Incredible staff, some who remembered us from two years ago! Where else does this happen. We will definitely be returning.

Room Tip: G14 is further away Balloon Bar so it is quieter. However, being up on the cliff means more walkin...

We went to CSS for a short 4 day trip and the only issue I had with this resort is we only stayed for 4 days.

ARRIVAL:

Landing in Montego Bay is typical for most airports except for the very long trek from where you get off the plane to immigration. Both immigration and customs were very efficient. Once we passed these formalities, we were directed to the Couples lounge. Once there, you meet the friendliest staff who have a vested interest in your enjoyable vacation. The ice cold red stripes were a welcomed treat while we waited for our shuttle to CSS. The journey to CSS from Montego Bay is about 1 hr 45 mins along a beautiful northern highway. You get a chance to experience Jamaica for what it is.

Upon arrival to CSS we were greeted by the great bell staff who kindly provided us with cool towels and champagne. We got to CSS around 3pm and our room was not ready (4 pm check in). CSS took care of our bags and we were able to enjoy a great meal on the beach at the beach bar and grill. When we returned to the front lobby at 4pm, our room was still not ready but after waiting for approx 30 mins and being attended to by the great staff who kept the drinks flowing, we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom Ocean view with a large balcony. Our bags were taken to our room and we were shown "the ropes" of the resort and room.

ROOM:
We were located in the F block of rooms which is right on top of the lobby and games area over looking a small pool, the Cassanova restaurant and Ballon Bar. If you are a couple who is looking for a very quiet room with minimal disruption, I do not recommend the F block but being a bunch of thirty somethings who enjoy relaxation and like being in the middle of it all, I could not think of a better location. Our most favorite part of the resort was our balcony. We felt like VIP guests as we watched the entertainment from the balloon bar in the comfort of our chaise lounge. The room was immaculately clean and spacious. Shower pressure and hot water were great and the king size bed was very comfy. The mini bar came stocked with red stripes, water and a few juices. For personalization, simply complete the mini bar form and it will be restocked to your liking the next day. Noting our great location, we took advantage of ordering a bottle of spirits and mixers to enjoy while we watched the entertainment below. Of note, the décor could use an update but this is really nitpicking as the room was very functional, clean and comfortable.

RESTAURANTS:
The resort has 3 restaurants. The main restaurant is the Pallazina where its buffet for breakfast and lunch while a la carte for dinner. Both meals come with either an omelette or meat station with a server. The Cassanova is an a la carte of the French persuasion while the Beach Bar/ Bella Vista (same place but turns into the Bella Vista at night) provides what I felt the was closest thing to Jamaican fare. The Bella Vista was our favorite place for dinner as 1. No reservation required, 2. Its right on the beach and 3. The food felt the most authentic (if you are ordering the right items). The service at all the restaurants were excellent.

BARS AND ENTERTAINMENT:
CSS has 2 main bars plus a pool bar and smoothie/Panini bar. The Balloon Terrace located near the lobby offered nightly entertainment (check the resort schedule as this varies) while the beach bar and pool bars are exactly what they sound like. All locations were quick with the service, friendly smiles and knowledgeable staffs. The smoothie/Panini bar is located by the mineral pool. This area of the resort certainly has the health vibe considering the fitness pavilion and spa are close by. The service may seem slow when you are ordering a smoothie but if you pay attention to the prep of your drink, all the fruit/veggies are freshly peeled and the server kept a really clean station which takes an investment of time. The wait is worth it as the freshness of the drink is second to none. My only knock against this bar is when it opens. It opens around 11am but I was working out at 7 am. It would have been great to enjoy a smoothie post work out but the fruit juices at breakfast do a nice job of holding me over. There is a bar at the au naturel beach but I never went here due to the short duration of my stay. The nightly entertainment is quite a spectacle. On Friday they had the starlight gala which has a wedding vibe to it. It is a tonne of work to set up and a large investment in staff so please do check it out. They have a wide variety of food and its a great opportunity to meet some of the other guests. The Balloon Bar had a band and music on different nights.

FACILITIES:
All the pools were kept in great shape and the salt and chlorine levels of the according pools seemed spot on. The fitness pavilion has what you need to maintain your normal routine. FYI, this place does have heavy bags so if you enjoy the martial arts, bring your gloves. The mineral pool was our go to place as it seemed a touch more private than the main pool and I personally enjoy salt water pools over chlorine. FYI, there is a Jacuzzi steps away from the mineral pool. The main pool was a good size with plenty of chairs. Unfortunately, people reserve chairs at this resort with a towel which to me is extremely annoying as most of these people do not even utilize the chair until later in the day. Fortunately, there are plenty of chairs and floaties to go around. The beach is small but it adds to the charm of this resort. There is ample amount of shade and the beach is soft and clean. I did not try the watersports or any of the other offerings of this resort (that I did not already mention) but they were available and recommended by many others...specially the spa.

STAFF:
The staff at this resort is second to none. Despite how great and well maintained the resort is, my vacation was spectacular because of the staff here. They make sure everything is "irie" for you and you must be giving "much respect" because of that. They make you feel that you are at home, a friend and royalty all at the same time. I strongly encourage that you create conversation with a few of the staff here. You will quickly realize how great of people they are how much you will want to come back.

GUESTS:
There was a diverse group of guests from all over the world at the resort. I would say the median age is about 45ish but if you are south of that age like myself, this is not a concern. This resort is for having a romantic vacation with your loved one.

DEPARTURE:
Of course, leaving was the worst part of the vacation. A note is slid under your door giving you directions about what time check out is and when the shuttle will be departing from the airport. The staff were just as friendly as when you first arrived. The departure experience was interesting and my complaints may be rhetorical for seasoned travellers. Immigration and Security were efficient but it was extremely busy. The airport food was insanely expensive ($24 USD for 2 reg. subs) and a puzzling lack of actual Jamaican food. The airline massively screwed up the seating plan with double bookings of seats and passengers being spread around the aircraft away from their travel companions.

OVERALL:
I'm coming back and I can't wait!

We traveled here in November 2012 for our Honeymoon and really enjoyed it! Not the warmest time to go to Jamaica---warm enough to lay on the beach, but a little chilly for swimming for these Southerners...

Pros:
Size: this is a small resort; it was always quiet and we never felt crowded or like we were invading others' space on the beach or the grounds.
Food: I've heard sad stories about the quality of food at all-inclusive, but we were never disappointed here! The restaurants were FANTASTIC, and the lunch and breakfast buffets always had a great variety and were delicious! Loved the smoothie bars
Beach: the private beach here was very clean; while small, we never felt crowded
Service: everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful! We had to switch rooms on our last night, as our roof began to leak, but our concerns were addressed promptly.
Tours: we enjoyed a boat ride around the coast and snorkeling at the resort, and did the horseback riding tour that was contracted outside the resort. All were great!

Cons:
Beach umbrellas: I'm fair-skinned and had concerns about there not being enough cabanas, which there weren't. We brought our own beach umbrella, which was well worth the $40 I spent on it.
Rooms: The rooms need some serious updating in my opinion, especially the bathrooms and showers. Our shower had black stuff in the grout and the water temp and pressure were terribly inconsistent. Our roof leaked on the last night there---water POURED in from our hallway ceiling and our bathroom--so there was that. Grant it there had been a hurricane a few months before and repairs were still underway, but that wasn't a great way to spend our last night.

Overall, wish I could give 4.5 stars because the rooms were he main reason I don't think this deserves QUITE a 5. I would try Couples again and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet honeymoon!

Room Tip: We did the Beachfront room to have a good view of the ocean; it was loud a few times at night due to...

We went to CSS March 9-16 2013. It was our 3rd visit and we had booked the one of the Penthouse rooms. Much to our surprise and delight we were upgraded to the Hibiscus Villa! We had the very best time -peaceful and relaxing. The villa was amazing, service was fantastic - especially Erol, Dazla (?) and our waiter for the romantic dinner in the Wedding Gazebo (absolutely the best food we have had in any resort). We really appreciate the friendly service and atmosphere at Sans Souci - can't wait to go back.

300 guests. 300 service staff! That tells the story.

We were 8 and we all had an excellent time.

Look for Spaghetti and Linguini to keep you involved in various entertainment activities. Sunshine at the beach lunch area was superb.

Rooms were very clean and big. (A & B blocks)

The only two negative comments are: A) The music at the pool bar was intermittent at best and only turned on when requested by guests. B) The pool bar only opens at 10am; unlike other all inclusives that open at 9am.

We'll be going back!

Room Tip: A & B blocks face the beach. C & D+ blocks seemed more secluded.
