Our experience was wonderful from the time we stepped off the airport shuttle. The property is beautiful...wonderful views from everywhere. The staff really made the experience special, everyone was so friendly and knew our names quickly. The only part of the experience that I could give anything less than excellent ratings was the food options, more variety would be nice but the options there are good...just not a lot of variety. Our trip was fabulous though and we will definitely be back!

Room Tip: Stayed in G block and had a great view but be prepared for a lot of steps!

My husband and I recently attended my best friends destination wedding at the Couples Resort in Sans Souci Jamaica. We had an absolute blast! The staff were fantastic, especially the wedding coordinators and event staff--they really helped make the wedding night one to remember! The bartenders were very friendly and all staff at the resort always adorned a smile and said hello, even stopped to chat to see if we needed anything. The beaches and grounds were clean. I recommend this place to anyone! Go to the Blue Hole for an unforgettable adventure!!!

Room Tip: The rooms with an ocean view are wonderful to wake up to!

We recently stayed at this resort for our honeymoon. The grounds were beautiful and we loved that it was a smaller resort. We did have a blast and would possibly go back, be we were disappointed with the rooms. They are quite dated with minimal amenities.

The resort is on a hill so it makes the property multi-level which means LOTS of stairs. If you have any knee issues this may not be pleasant for you. We ended up moving to a beachfront room (for an additional $50/night) which was worth it for us as I have a bad knee.

The staff and food is great, but they need to provide much more bottled water. There are only three restaurants on property, but they were quite good with a nice variety. Only one breakfast spot, but they do mix things up so that never was an issue for us. I would steer clear of room service though ... that left a bit to be desired.

Room Tip: Section A and B are on the beach side. Others will require lots of stair climbing to get to the beach.

This was our first visit to Jamaica and we absolutely loved it! We went for our 20th wedding anniversary and it was amazing! The property is absolutely breathtaking. The staff was exceptional - the nicest we have ever encountered. It is a smaller resort, which we really loved. It was easy to just strike up conversations with people, and we made some nice new friends. It was not at all a party resort at night but you could still have fun with the few that were up! We will definitely go back and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Room Tip: Buildings A and B are the best for a beachfront room and are close to the main pool, water activities, most restaurants, etc. We met people staying in building G. That is the opposite end of the property and more elevated. They said the views were breathtaking, but a little further from the main stuff and you have to use a lot of stairs. We are very active and actually liked the stairs, but if you have knee issues or anything like that, you may not. Even in our buildings, we did have to use the stairs to get to the main lobby for excursions, the shops and the nice restaurant.

For me, this resort was dated. The rooms were basic!, and bathrooms quite old fashioned. Not many toiletries were provided, and no little touches. My room had no view apart from the green trees. I didn't like the rooms. Mini bar had soft drink and red stripe but no liquor. Mosquitos were everywhere - SO please take repellent with you Urgent matter.
The resort is large with beautiful views and quaint sections with romantic settings. That was the best bit.

However there's steps everywhere, up and down is all you go! It's so much work to get to a place in the heat, I would not recommend if you have walking difficulties.

The beach is small and shingle, not soft white sand.

The food was nice in the signature restaurant for dinner. Only one choice for breakfast and options were limited. There is no cafe for early morning coffee!!

Bars had nice drinks and good selection, just wished more bottled water was offered at points throughout the resort.
I would recommend the martini bar, excellent staff.

I would get bored here for more than 5 nights. If you don't and want a simple hotel this is for you.

Dear Taurus_World,

Thank you for staying at Couples Sans Souci. The entire resort (including rooms) is colonial in style because of the era it was built in. However, continuous renovations have taken place since Couples Resorts acquired the hotel in 2006. Sorry you felt the rooms were too basic. Your view was dependent on what category you booked.

We appreciate your comments. It is unfortunate that this resort wasn’t the right fit for you. Our other properties have a more modern feel to them. Have a glance at Couples.com.

Regards,
Abraham Issa
