Description: At Christopher's we don't just feed appetites - we feed souls. Our signature restaurant serves up locally sourced gourmet fare on an open-air veranda with ocean-view tables.Christopher's acclaimed Chef Conroy specializes in original dishes that capture the essence of Jamaica: callaloo with Scotch bonnet drizzle, pimento-smoked beef tenderloin, translucent plantain chips, curried goat ravioli and, of course, grilled lobster. Conroy's dishes embrace the freshest local ingredients and the bounty of the Caribbean. You can watch local fishing boats deliver the catch of the day or join the chef in selecting fruits, vegetables and herbs from the resort's lush gardens. Start your day with our Island Breakfast - handmade muffins and a succulent fruit plate. In the evening dress up or down for a dining experience called "by far one of the best that the island has to offer."

“Excellent local fare”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

Went to Christopher's for the second time this year and the experience each time is amazing. The service was excellent and portions quite adequate. Chef Conroy is to be commended for the scrumptious local dishes we feasted on. The folks I took there are still raving about the food and the location. One would never imagine such a beautiful location exists in Ocho Rios. The ocean view is to die for, it's like suddenly coming upon an oasis Can't wait to return for another exciting culinary experience.

“Best Restaurant Experience in Ochi”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

Went for the first time for my birthday this year and cant stop going and sharing this new find with family and friends. The food is delectable and Chef Conroy knows just how to tease the appetite.
I've taken family, friends and clients, they all have the same rave reviews. Not only is the food fabulous but the location is on the beach, surrounded beautiful flora, away from the maddening crowd....when you are here, you never want to leave.

“"Beautiful Eye Candy"”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

On the 6th of August, we went to Ocho Rios for the day and was just driving around when we noticed this little Lane with nothing much about it but decided to venture down there. To our surprise we came upon this guarded entrance that looked quite appealing, we noticed there was a sign about a restaurant. So we asked the guard if it was ok for us to dine at this restaurant and we were told yes, we were so excited as the property looked so peaceful, clean and had the air of aristocracy. We entered the property and the first thing we noticed was the beautiful architecture of the villas, they were like eye candy, painted with multiple colors but tastefully done.
We entered the office area and was told that even though we were not staying on the property we were welcomed to dine at the restaurant. I was so excited because this would allow us to have a better view of the property. Aww, it was so well manicured with lush green plants and trees, the villas structure was a combination of colonial meets Spanish and seemed very private. The restaurant had a unpainted light house with exposing brick in various areas as if peeling back the structure, it created an image as if the building was there for decades (fell in love with the place immediately). We walked down to the beach area and even though it wasn't huge, you felt that privacy, they had two extended walking platform where you could go out to to these two covered area and just chill, listen to the waves, view the ocean and the yachts sailing by occasionally. The roofs were covered with thatch like material, the beach was clean and the water crystal clear.
We had lunch on the terrace with some friends we knew were also in Ocho Rios and invited to come over, they too was taken aback by this property that we didn't even knew existed. The service was very good, so was the food. A blending of Jamaican and American food, we had ribs, barbecue chicken and pulled pork for lunch with plantain wedges, potato wedges, croquettes, mojitos and blended natural drinks (with some Jamaican Rum of course).
After lunch we just sat there hanging out, laughing, talking and enjoying the sounds of the ocean. We all decided that this would be a great place for us to fully enjoy by staying there sometime soon. I think for me what I loved the most was the architecture of the Villas and oh how I love that light house restaurant.
There is some construction happening on the far right of the property, we were told that they were adding a huge infinity pool and some more villas to the property. With all that said, it didn't have any impact on the rest of the finished compound.
Will definitely return, so that I can give you a feedback on the interior of the villa and the experience of staying there. Much love!

“A Diamond in Ocho Rios”
Reviewed 10 July 2014

There are few restaurants in Ocho Rios that have a chef that visits everyone personally, prepares items to order, and then checks to see if you like it...Chef Conroy is amazing, old school restaurant practices. Food is wonderful. If you live in town please try it! If your a visitor please try it. The location is beautiful, and peaceful. Sit outside on the veranda overlooking the sea, and have a nice chat with Chris the bartender.

“One of Jamaica's Hidden Treasures”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to eat in the enchanted forest? Well you don't have to wonder anymore. The restaurant is tucked neatly away in the most beautiful shrubbery rite on the ocean. The food is amazing an inventive and has great customer service. Everything goes hand in hand here, cant wait to go back again.
