Nice Hotel, Clean rooms, great breakfast in front of the beach, Very nice staff. Awesome place!!
.
We stayed at Negril 4 days with our 2 kids 14 and 6, they had a wonderful time... but we think Jamaica is not a place to visit with Kids... more like a getaway for couples.
Negril has this wonderful beach, white sand and very clear waters... excellent ambiance... nice people, but if you are looking for good service this is not the place to visit unless you spend over 400$ a night and stay on the big name hotels all inclusive.

Room Tip: Next door there is this little hut where you can buy cheap beer and very tasty patties, across the s...

We loved our stay at Sea Splash! Cheryl (Sorry if I am spelling your name wrong sista!) is great and looked out for us in every way possible. There is security on the property, beautiful garden, nice swimming pool, hot tub and of course beach and green/blue water which is worth killing for. Watch out for unnecessary vendors roaming approaching tourists around the beach but be persistent and consistent in resisting and you will have a better time that way! :)

Room Tip: 1 Bedroom Suites are amazing...We had a 1 BR Suite with the loft but the loft was tucked away upstai...

Stayed a week at the property and the serviced received from everyone on the property was excellent! The bartenders were full of personality and smiles (Natasha Romaine, & Alicia ) . Jim is no longer the owner and I am not sure who is. The general managers Mrs. Clark and she is a very nice lady as well. Vincent the lifeguard had our chairs ready on the beach daily w/o us ever asking. Romaine the security guard was very helpful and filled us in on the happening spots.

Everything that I tasted at Normas was great. I was always served w a smile. The food does take awhile but I think this is because it is made to order. Missing the callaloo as I type :-) They have happy hour from 12- 2 which was a plus and live music on Thursday and Sunday. The bad was really good. Most nights can be rather quite around the bar area.

My room was very big and clean we had a Jr. Suite. It was cleaned daily and we had hot water. Not sure what the new owners plans are but I would recommend a a fresh coat of paint in the rooms and perhaps a color that is a lil brighter and tropical. The room decor was a lil dismal to my tasted and the lights were low so it gave it a drabby feeling. Everything in the room is olive green to khaki in color. And the living furniture could stand to be replace it appeared dingy or maybe it was just the color not sure but it didn't give a very inviting feeling. I think a new color scheme would do the property a big justice.

Mosquitos and or sand fleas ate me alive and repellent didn't work for me. So be prepared. Every taxi driver seems to have their own rate for the same destination so negotiate. We found Donald to be rather affordable and we got his # at the front desk.

Went with wife and daughter in late april...early may. Hotel was being run by Jim Hunt. We had a great time in a clean suite with complimentary breakfast. Seasplash was clean, well staffed, safe and fun. Live reggae shows once a week.....you cant go wrong. Would stay again!!

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Bus ride from montego bay is an adventure, but driver( Calvin) was awesome. Used him at other times. Between the ants, lizards, and ac not working good our first night was not great. They switched our rooms and it was much better! Two ac's in room. Rm:1. The restaurant is very over rated. Always out of food and overpriced. Overall the location is good, the people who work there are very great and helpful, (from front desk to security on beach.) would probably not go back but for right price I may! Overall I would rate about a 3. PS bed very hard and uncomfortable !

I want to make it clear that when we were here my wife was 5 months pregnant and all we wanted to do was relax. That said we were never comfortable at this hotel. The room was supposed to be a non smoking room but I question that. The bathroom was missing the towel rod and there was a ring around the toilet. The room just felt dirty and dingy.
After breakfast on our first morning we went down to the beach. We were constantly harassed by people trying to sell us drugs and everything else. The worst part about it was that Rosta Dave (security) was sitting behind us while this happend (finishing his rolled cigarette and beer). He never offered any assistance.
At this point I'd had enough and went with my wife to talk to Jim Hurt(owner). He explained to us that his place isn't for everyone and offerd some other places that we should check out that are more family friendly. He said he would refund us for the other 4nights. Well that was on April 29th and still no refund.
Not all was bad though. I do recommend that you eat at the restaurant here. The one meal we had was great. Just don't stay here unless you're in your early 20's and could care less about the below average accommodations.
