I recently went to Jamaica for the 1st time and stayed at Whistling Bird for a few nights. What a delight! No...this is not Sandals...THANK GOD! This is a family-owned and operated business that has been around for a long time. Amanda and James were so friendly and always eager to make everything just right for us. The open air bar is heaven. Unlike all of the places around us, Whistling Bird has kept all of the native vegetation, so it truly feels secluded and tropical even though you're in bustling Negril. The staff are personable and have been there for decades...which says plenty about this place.
