“Great food!”

Great food and great prices. Just like most places in Jamaica this is a small place, while the food was great and the staff was so nice it was so hot! I would definitely recommend this place!

“Possibly the best Caribbean meal I've ever had!”
Reviewed 8 July 2014 via mobile

This place was right on the side of West End Road, close to the lighthouse, and looked very subtle, but what a pleasant surprise when you walk in and sit down. Cool signs, nice colors, very colorful and comfy looking hammocks, the bar area was mellow and dimly lit with posters and stuff. There is window at the back of the dining area where you can watch them cook your meal. Very clean kitchen!

We were the only people there at this time, and we were greeted kindly by the owner/chef. It was cool to see him go right to work with his assistant, catering to all our needs: they got us a mosquito coil, turned on the fan, got our drinks right away, got us a cab took take us back to our hotel afterwards, everything! They're there to please their guests, just ask them and they'll hook you up.

For our meal I had the Pepper Fish and my wife had the Curry Fish, both with garlic bread and fruit for garnish. We were so impressed by the presentation of the meal. We received five star presentation and taste for 1/5 of the price! The fish, veggies and fruit tasted so fresh and tasty. The bread was great for absorbing the amazing sauces on the fish. All of it was served nice and hot right off the stove, cooked by "Murphy" himself. We enjoyed a few Red Stripes and nice Rum Punch with our fish, and it washed it all down nicely (the Red Stripe really was "the coldest on the island," as they say) and very refreshing on a hot evening in July.

Highly recommend this place if you're ever in Negril! We'll be back again!

“Amazing dinner!”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

We had dinner here our last night in Jamaica, and we wished we would have come sooner. The food was delicious and loved the presentation. We had the curried fish and fried fish with a sampling of several of the sides (mashed pumpkin, festival, sautéed vegetables, and garlic bread). They have the coldest Red Stripe and make the best rum punch in Jamaica. We made reservations a day early and we were greeted by the owner as soon as we exited the cab. Dinner was amazing and great conversations afterwards. We will make this a permanent stop on our future return visits to Jamaica.

“Simply the best in Jamaica”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

Murphy and Tony are the best chef's I've come across in all of Jamaica.I have been to Jamaica more than most will ever be there. Trust me. Don't be in a rush and don't judge by the location. Extremely clean kitchen. They only use fish caught the same day. All is made from scratch. Had dinner there 5 nights in a row. Still shocked how great it was. There is no better. Cash only. Best to call and make reservations as it's a 2 man place.

“One of best meals ever!”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

My wife and I arrived and we were the only ones in the restaurant about 7PM last Wednesday. Graciously greater by Murphy-
I had pepper fish- excellent!
My wife had grilled shrimp with pumpkin mash- excellent!
We both thought it was one of the best dinners we ever had!
Would go back to Jamaica just to eat here again.
