Famous Vincent Glass Bottom Boats
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 26 July 2013

My friends and I wanted to go snorkeling. Since we had children our hotel recommended Vincent’s glass bottom boat. Normally they will pull the boat right up to your hotel and pick you up but the water was to rough at our hotel. Vincent came and picked us up and took us to the beach to meet the boat. Now when the husbands saw the small boat they were not very happy. (Last year we went on a big catamaran) But once we got on the fun started. Vincent and his crew make you fell like they have always known you. When it was time to snorkel Vincent and his crew get in the water with you. Now maybe this does not see like a big deal, but it is. Other boats came to the same area and just have their passengers just off the boat and do their own thing for 30 min. Then they call them back in and leave. Not Vincent. He takes you around the entire reef. Shows you things your eye would miss. Your there for a little over an hour. We had our children with us, and Vincent and his crew gave them all the attention. Made sure they saw it all. When we were at the end and my 9 year old was to tired to keep swimming one of Vincent’s men pulled him back to the boat. These guys really look out for you. They make sure they see it all. We all had the best day ever! He may not have the biggest prettiest boat, but he gives you all he’s got!

Vincent & his crew were terrific! They picked us up on the cliffs of the West End, right at our resort villa. As we headed toward Negril they pointed out all the various points of interest along the shoreline. It was slightly overcast but that didn't effect our snorkeling. Vincent was absolutely amazing, taking the time to get our son's attention & pointing out all the various fish, corals and even a couple of turtles! They also had Lincoy taking pics with his digi underwater camera, which we purchased the entire cd for a very nominal price---very much worth every penny!

The only downside to this excursion is we waited until the day before we had to leave to do it. In hindsight, I prob would've tried to plan on doing this at least 3-4 times during our trip. They also have another reef that you can visit, which has bigger sea creatures. Octupi, stingrays, etc. I guess we'll be catching that one, on our next trip to Jamaica... NO WORRIES MON'!

Vincent, Roger, Kirk were all fabulous guides. They picked us up right at our resort by boat and we made a quick stop at Pirates Cave. We had the surprising pleasure of being escorted by dolphins on our boat ride which was amazing.

Once we got to our snorkeling destination We all got our gear in and hopped into the water. Our group had a wide variety of snorkeling experience and this tour was perfect for that. Less confident swimmers could stay close to. Guide and more comfortable swimmers could explore more. We had bread with us in the water that had fish coming up and eating out of our hands. We saw a wide variety of fish, but not the bright colors of fish and corals we were expecting. We saw a shark, lots of fish, sea snakes, rays, and a school of calamari squid.

Vincent then took us to Booby Cay for lunch of lobster fresh out of the ocean and onto the grill. We saw a huge ray while Roger was scaling a fish. At the end of the tour Kirk had a photo CD that we could purchase from him of our snorkel trip from his underwater camera.

We went out with Vincent for a morning snorkeling trip and a stop at Booby Cay. We snorkeled for about an hour. The guides were great. We kept in somewhat of a group but I never felt like I was a child on a leash. We saw some amazing fish. We went to Booby Cay Island where we got 4 lobster lunches for $60! They also had red stripes for $3. The tour was amazing and only $35/person. I would recommend this to anyone.

We were picked up from our resort and made our way to the coral reef. Vincent and his crew were very nice and once we were in the water they showed us all types of creatures and they knew the names for all of them. One of his guys was taking photos of us and for an additional fee he put all our pictures on a DVD and delivered it to our resort later that afternoon. From there we went to Boody Cay Island and had amazing lobster. When we come back to Negril we will be ding this tour again.
