I really could not ask for a nicer room or friendlier staff. I could hear the surf every night from my room. One quick minute walk from my room would take me past the bar, the food, and the pool directly to the beach. The sand is raked clean every night! The staff is so calm and so eager to ensure your stay is a memorable one.
Check out my photos (attached).

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the main floor and near the pool

If you are expecting a nice hotel with a great all inclusive then you will be disapointed. The hotel is run down the bathrooms are not nice at all and the all inclusive is a joke ! Basically 3 items to choose from when there is any left and try and get some more, good luck ! On a positive note the location is good.Whatever !!!!

location was great, you can t beat the beach, hotel needs a good clean up, and a fresh coat of paint would make it look better.the people working there are great, food needs to have more variety really tierd of chicken, rice, pasta. what they serve is good, lobster on sunday, don t miss that. keep in mind that it is only a 3 star hotel on a 5 star beach, that is what we went for, if you want 5 star luxury, and huge buffet.dont come here. if you want an amazing location ,enough food to be full, friendly service,at reasonable price.this is the place for you. amazing sunsets right on beach on resort

We returned February 14th from a one week stay at the Beachcomber Club Negril all inclusive. The location was excellent and the hotel was comfortable. We had a suite that gave us a fully functional kitchen as well as a washer and dryer for laundry. The meals were a bit plain but we always had something good to eat. The bar would run out of different supplies from time to time but we just change our drink order to something different. Our favourite part of the trip were the Jamaican people. Over the course of a day everything would pass your chair on the beach. From singers to magicians, to vendors selling all sorts of goods. Jamaican patties, fresh fruit and fresh squeezed juice, fresh baked banna bread and rum cake, ice cream, and even lobsters! Also all sorts of activities are available from the beach as well. Horse back riding, scuba diving, jet skies, glass bottom boats and parasailing to name a few. Overall an excellent vacation and good value for the money.

we have nicely just returned from 7 days on the beautiful beach of negril, 7 mile as they call it, absolutely the best beach in jamaica, the hotel however needs a lot of work and so should the travel agent that supports this vacation package. do not go all-inclusive to this resort at the moment because it is highly overated, but does have potential. all staff that we had dealings with were exceptionally friendly and take a lot of crap from customers which i feel sorry for them because it is totally not their fault, but being on the front lines thats what happens. the owners of this establishment as well as sunquest should really sit down and discuss the issues that are rising before it gets worse because the hotel itself has great potential!!!!!!

I have just returned from a weeks vacation to the Beachcomber with my husband and my best friend and her husband. The only good thing about the resort is the location....the 7 mile beach is beautiful. This is our 2nd time to Jamaica where we previously stayed at the Grand Pineapple (loved it!!) but they were all booked up. We booked the Beachcomber mainly on the information provided by the resort, thomas cook and sunquest. Big mistake. The all inclusive is definitely NOT all inclusive. The bar kept changing what was included and what wasn't. Within a day, a list was made and posted at the bar as to what you could have.....it wasn't much!! As for the food............it was not good. No variety, basically the same thing every day.....you could count on having rice, chicken, fish, pasta and not much else. Mostly they ran out or very low on quantity of food. In a week, we had dessert once.....what I would consider a dessert..... not muffins or banana loaf. If you did not go to dinner at 7pm and immediately get a plate, you either got slim pickings or nothing at all. The staff is under-staffed, and not trained. Mostly they stood around while guests looked for something to eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!The rooms were clean enough, the bed comfortable, the location great, the beach fantastic and the water beautiful. I feel the owners need to put some money into this location if they are going to succeed in an all inclusive property. Maybe they need to visit an all inclusive resort to see what actually is involved in operating it??? Just a thought.

My husband and I just returned from another trip to Jamaica just love that seven mile beach, the water and the people.
But our hotel this trip was booked on misled information from Thomas Cook and Sunquest tours. They just started advertising The Beachcombers as an all inclusive resort. It looked great just like the Grand Pineapple or Merils on the same beach. The rooms were about the same all in need of a face lift. But the food was little to none. For breakfast they have one coffee urn and a four slice toaster. For lunch we were served hamburgers with sliced onions that’s it. Thank god for the food on the beach. You never knew what time diner was, but you better be waiting around because they don’t cook alot and run out all the time. The bar ran out of cold beer, rum and ice daily and don't look for blender drinks there not all inclusive either is rye. And they close at 10pm. Bring towels with you they are almost impossible to get and most should be turned into rags. They need to invest some money into this place, new beach chairs and towles, some new blenders and some way to stop the bar from running out of booze in the middle of the day. More food on the menu. More coffee pots. Great location but it ends there. Save your money and book somewhere else.
