Great place, staff is great and very friendly. I love the fact that is right on the beach! we just were a few steps from it. Love it and would stay there again!
Michael Security at the beach always very attentive taking care of us when we lounged at the beach.
Jennifer the bartender at the restaurant very sweet greeted us with a big smile everytime. Jeneque the receptionist was very attentive when we arrive and when we left as well. Everyone in the staff was very nice!

Room Tip: If you want to stay right on the beach, book the Beachfront room, you will have to cross the street...

Our stay was wonderful! With buffet style food there was always something we could find to eat. Mama the cook even made a special trip into the kitchen to get us chicken without the jerk spices. Beach was beautiful, clean, and the water clear and amazing! Michael on the beach was very good to watch over us and advise us about who was safe to do business with. Our rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels provided. Shopping at a mall was just across the street and there was a crossing guard to stop traffic so we could cross safely. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Waitresses were awesome and friendly! Hope to go back again, very soon! Only down side, we arrived on National Hero's weekend. Very loud music at the bar next door, for 3 nights. All good the rest of the time!

My husband and I married here just over 2 years ago. We are DYING to go back. We loved every second of Samsara and Legends. The resort is cute and easy to navigate. We stayed in one of the pillar houses and LOVED having our own little place. We watched the sun set every night from our porch, it was so romantic. The best part, the hotel made planning our wedding absolutely a breeze. We loved the vibe, the colors, the people, the simplicity, and just being able to be with each other. What an awesome place. We will definitely be back!

Room Tip: We highly recommend the pillar house for a unique experience.

We went to Samsara for our vacation and to celebrate our birthdays for a week. We loved this place! The views from our pillar room ( T3) were amazing! Every morning, noon and night the view displayed was another beautiful sight. The staff was friendly and always helpful. The service at the bar was kinda slow but the drinks were great, Thank you Dalton! We had the all inclusive and enjoyed the meals very much! During our stay we did travel out to Falmouth and to Ocho Rios staying a night at the Guest house retreat. I think its worth the price upgrade if you drink alcohol or plan to not leave the resort. We spent a day at the sister resort and loved the beach. The previous reviews mention no towels, dirty facility, drugs and so on.... I believe that Samsara was perfect for us as we didn't want a busy upscale resort type place. It was so relaxing and exactly what i was wanting in our vacation. We always had fresh clean towels including wash cloths daily. Samsara isn't upscale but it was a nice place to stay with staff that would go out of their way to ensure you had what you needed. The bed was comfortable but it did squeak loudly! In our room we had no A/C but all windows were opened and a nice breeze blew in keeping it cool. I brought a small fan too which helped too. The windows didn't all have screens which is something i believe they need to work on but it won't stop me from going back. The bugs were not bad at all during our stay. The pool was clean and felt great after a long day! If you like massages then you'll have to try the salon. I had a massage on my birthday and it probably was the best one id ever had! We were not offered any drugs at the Samsara resort, however we were everywhere else we went from the beach to the market to other towns. Thats just how it is as it seems to be a big part of what jamaica does. If it totally offends you then i suggest another island! You will not find things like shampoo ,conditioner, blow dryer, iron, coffee maker, or an alarm clock. The way i look at you are on vacation and maybe you don't need those things, but if you do then this isn't the place for you. Just hang back relax and enjoy the culture, view, and all that jamaica has to offer!!! I feel in love with the people and the island. Couldn't have asked for a better time at Samsara!

Room Tip: The pillar room has beautiful breath taking views. If you need A/C then this room isn't for you...

we had our daughters wedding at samsara 2 years ago. we all stayed at legends during the time we were there. we all enjoyed the hotel very much. the workers were great with all of us. and they all fell in love with our granddaughter (1yr old) and enjoyed carrying her around and playing with her. they always made sure we had a space to eat together (sometimes up to 20 people) and nothing to complain about with the drinks.... the rooms are nice and clean. remember this is not a 5 star hotel. so if that is what you want or need then look elsewhere. we have been to negril many times and always like the smaller hotels. yes the area is poor but you are in JAMAICA..... i love the people there and i love JAMAICA..... we are looking right now to book a trip back to either LEGENDS OR SAMSARA... cant wait to come back and see all of you

Not the best accommodations, BUT THE BEACH IS AMAZING!! Considering how cheap this resort is it is worth the money. If your looking for 4 or 5 star dining and accommodation then this is not your place. People are friendly and atmosphere is very relaxed. Food was ok. Hotel next door plays loud obnoxious music almost 24/7. I would rather stay at Samasara their sister resort and then visit legends on the days when you want to go to the beach. AGAIN, the beach is beautiful.

Room Tip: Rooms are on the beach and across the road, so make sure you look at that when booking. I would assu...
