I have spent a week at Samsara for the past 3 years, and It is a GREAT spot. The cliffs, the pool, the bar, the service and the company are all top notch. Don't forget to check out Ciao Jamaica across the street for some amazing italian/jamaican cuisine.
AMAZING!!!!!! We just returned from 6 days in Negril at Samsara and it was wonderful. Fron the location, to the grounds, to the people... everything was great. Our room was small but comfortable and cleaned nicely every day. The resort itself was kept in perfect condition, being cleaned almost constantly. The staff was so helpful, kind and considerate. The cliffs were amazing, we jumped from them almost every day! We did the all inclusive and it was worth it for us. We could drink local beers and alcohol all day. Breakfast was always fresh eggs and other local specialities, same for lunch and dinner. The staff was very helpful in getting us a taxi or whatever we needed.
Samsara is a great place and I recommend it!!!! We will certainly be back again and again!

I stayed here with a few good friends and we had a great time! First of all the hotel is in a beautiful location. The view is absolutely amazing. We had a lot of fun laying out all day and just taking in the views. The staff was so sweet and took care of us really well the drinks were so good. Try the dirty banana! The restaurant across the street is probably the best place in Negril. We like to go to many places to eat when we travel but we went back to the restaurant twice because it was so good.
For the value its a great place. The staff and views make it worth it!
Wow... I had no idea Jamaica was such a beautiful island. Really happy we decided to stay on the cliffs. Reminded me of certain parts of the South of France. Samsara has these cool steps carved into the rock that take you right into the water or you can just jump off the cliff. Only about 14feet/4m high. Plus they have a sister property called Lengends, on the beach, and they offer a free shuttle between the two hotels a few times a day. Best of both worlds. If you're all inclusive it works at both hotels.
Great food. Staff were great. Can't complain and I can't wait to go back.
Get a room with an air conditioner. Besides that it is great. The food is amazing and the people working are so much fun. The remember you after the first night. The cliffs are fun to jump from and the sunset from the resort is amazing.
Negril is the most delightful Jamaican town--the people are friendly and the tourists aren't too tourist-y (read: no Ultimate Spring Breakers). And Samara is an easy respite from the hubbub of the beach.
The pool is quiet, the staff is fantastic, the views are gorgeous and the happy hour is cheap. Great views of the sunset, swimming off the cliffs and in the pools, and a delicious little Italian restaurant right across the street.
All around, the experience at samsara was great!
