“Wild Thing...I think I love you”

Wild Thing day trips
Reviewed 7 October 2013

This was a great time. We were fortunate enough to have a smaller group on the catamaran which made for some extra fun times. We sailed up the coast of 7 mile beach, beautiful scenery, we were able to snokel and swim in the caves. We had a doulphins "escorting" us up to Ricks Cafe where we were able to spend some time watching the cliff divers. No sunset there because it was rainy and cloudy but that didnt stop the party on the boat one bit! The crew was entertaining and jumped right into the mix of the dancing and partying on the way back. All in all we had a fun time on the wild thing,

We took a trip out to snorkel, which was pretty good. Not a lot to see, but fun. We also stopped and swam in the caves but didn't get to stay very long. We stopped at Rick's and Gregg jumped off the cliff. All in all, a fun afternoon and a beautiful day.

It rained the first hour of the trip, but it didn't matter because Big Bird, Clive, and Heavy Metal were wonderful host! We were laughing and having a great time the entire trip to the caves and Ricks Cafe in Negril. Snorkeling, water slide, cave swimming, cliff jumping, and of the party were the highlight of our entire trip. Good job guys!

Went with the Wildthing for a snorkel trip to Half Moon Bay. It was very enjoyable. The one con would I would mention is how the people snorkeling were somewhat rushed. The boat drops everyone off and then begins to move forward at a pace that you cannot swim at. If you have younger children make sure they are comfortable prior to the boat taking off.

For the majority the boat crew were a riot. They kept our drinks full and were quite entertaining to say the least. I would say this was well worth it.

Loved the snorkeling (thanks Big Bird) and enjoyed the sights but was not impressed by Rick's. Just another dive (cliff diving joke.) The cafe is on a cliff that you access by a rolling ride to the cliff side steps. After climbing the steps, looking through the little gift shop and deciding not to order any food, I was done. The local cliff diving guys were a little pushy with the tip requests. I would have enjoyed just a along the shore with no stops other than to snorkel.
