Gay so nice to hear from you. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. Our guests often tell us we are a unique alternative to the larger all-inclusive resorts, whom of course have their admirers too. We offer a safe and comfortable Jamaican experience steps from the beach and within easy walking distance of the town, duty free, bars and restaurants. We are so looking forward to seeing you in 2015.
One Love

My sister, her partner, and I left Jamaica last Wednesday. We were there for six days. Travellers was absolutely the BEST! when we arrived, the front desk staff was so polite and professional. Oniel was so kind and protective of us on the beach. The owners were present and friendly, and all of the staff made us feel right at home. The locals were also friendly and welcoming.

Room Tip: Higher floors give an awesome view of the resort and mangoes growing on the trees right outside.

Jahki S what can I say! When your review of our resort is titled "like heaven on earth" and I am reading this just before I end my day I have to feel grateful and thankful to my guests and also the team that makes Travellers such a special place. However I want to assure you that we don't take our accolades lightly, we know we must continue to strive even harder to ensure we stay at the top of our game. Thank you on behalf of the entire Travellers family and please hurry back.............

OK, my sister , my partner and myself decided to chose Travellers because of many reviews encouraging use to stay here. We stayed form 5 nights 05/16-05/21this spring and " IT WAS FANTASTIC", from the young and welcoming front desk staff to the GREATEST SECURITY on the beach " Mr. Oneal who was alllll ways on top of the multiple games being ran on us tourist allll day long ( Beach Locals saling everything from Party favorites &*(%$# to Whole and Fully Cooked lobster in a box $5 U.S ) ,the grounds are simply beautiful with Fruit treats, spetacular plants and local lizards, but that also made this trip memorable.

Breakfast was included in our Groupon deal which was amazingly good , hot and freash daily. We got in on a Friday night and made a party of it , by going directly to Kareoke and Pheobe and Jack took advantage of the party and sang a few songs and had a blast. The beach is Breath taking daily with a daily rain shower to cool the day off each day this time of year. Our room was an air conditioned Superior Room upstairs with ceiling fan and well worth the money ( the bath rooms can use some updating , but we were able to witness ongoing improvements during our stay ( light construction during the day , as they worked on several rooms on the property). We asked for a Fridge and it was supplied within minutes, which was badly needed to keep freah cold water near , because the Heat is OFF THE CHAIN. We were not the typical Guess you can say, but we were treated well and with respect by all. We were excited to see that the owner and his sons were very visible daily , but did not communicate with us at all ( almost as though we were not there at times, but oh well ). This Place is well situated on 7 Mile Beach and close to EVERYTHIHG. We walked around town , to town , to the bank and Pharmacy in town with no problems. Within walking distance to anything you need and a short cab ride to anywere you can think of, and you get to walk past the Fishing Village under the Bridge ,on the way to town ( A site you have to see in it self, take a picutre of the Huge Tree acoss the River fillllllled with these beautiful White Birds , that we first thought were large flowers until they started to fligh back and forth nesting in this tree).

We went to Rick's Cafe at sun set to chill and watch the Cliff Divers ( OMG, SPECTACULAR) i can't swim so i did not jump off the cliffs, but it is something i will come back to do on my next stay in Negril, Hedo II in a short cab ride, Light House is close as well as many other site and attractions. Due to the great time we had and feeling very safe and welcomed by staff, if welcomed back , more then lickly we will stay at Travellers because we were treated so well by all.

Go into town , eat at the local side of the road stands, Try the ( J&B vodka with Nitro to chase while in town with the real locals) make a friend and get into the Hills to see the real way Jamaican People are living daily. We saw life from the locals eyes during our stay and was invited to a Grave Digging Celebration during our stay and i have to say that my over all respect for Jamaican People was increased ten fold because we allowed ourselves to be free and was safe as like being with family at home while roaming the hills in Red Ground with our new friends in the white Hall area of Red Ground and the Gangster Bar down the street from Travellers ( Hello Pretty Ricky,Pitt Bull , Chantel and the rest- BIG UP ).

The Bar area at Travellers is were the party is and you can just get up daily and go to the Pool Bar and you will have had a blast with Romeo making those "panty Dropper" Drinks , well done.

My sister has meet several Jamaican's that helped her get her grover back and me and my partner were able to disband the overall fear of being a same sex couple in jamaica , WE HAD A BLAST. No one really cared about our difference and made use all feel welcomed. We came to party , wanting to spend the Money to have all we wanted, and simply have a Blast , WHICH WE DID from a Message lying in the White Sands on the Beach by "Carol " who carries her baby on her hips while she solicites Resort Guess for her privatge Alovera Message from head to ankle, LOL , it was refresing and vigerating to jump back into the crystal clear blue ocean water after this message.

We purchased , Lobster , Jewlery , Fresh Fruit, Sugar Cane, and a few other unmentionables all sitting on the beach, from local passer byers. WHATTTTTTTTTT A PARTY, UNRESTRICING AND FUN.

If Travellers will have us back ( because we did party a bit with some music on the patio at night) , we will surley be coming often , if not Negril has a lot to offer for everyone , even US and the locals and soooo many others are included in our desire to return to Negril OFTEN.

Room Tip: we stayed in room #24 superior room , ask for Fridge and house keeping is always avalable to assist with other needs.

Well hi there Janice; "the three chic's from Atlanta"!
Loved your review. Am not sure if it is the longest we have ever received but it certainly ranks up there! We really enjoyed having you guys with us and I am glad that you and your partner and your sister felt comfortable here at Travellers. You certainly found your way around Negril: as you say we are close to everything and just a short walk into town. Those birds are egrets incidentally! Not too many of our guests attend a Grave Digging, am sure the rum was flowing! Smaller Jamaican hotels like ourselves, we are 60 rooms, are able to offer a unique Jamaican experience while still ensuring the creature comforts, dining/bar options and the safety one expects as a part of the experience. Of course we will have you back at Travellers Janice - everyone will be here to welcome you. Meanwhile take care and we will see u-three real soon......One Love

Great hotel to stay at if you're in Negril. The ambiance is very tranquil and the vibe at night was live with excellent entertainment. The live band and singers were talented and put on a nice show. Hotel staff was friendly, polite, and professional. It's a beach front hotel, which is what I was looking for. The food at the hotel's restaurant was really good, full of flavor and reasonably priced. I definitely plan on coming back.

My girlfriend and I just got back from our four day vacation in Negril. We stayed at Travellers Resort and had the best time! This was probably my best hotel experience ever! All of the staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional! From the security guy at the front gate, to the tall skinny maintenance guy who took time out to take our pictures, all the servers, beach security guy, and Roman the bartender. Awesome drinks at the bar and great breakfast, lunch and dinner with amazing views right on the beach deck! We will be back next time! Thanks for a wonderful experience!

George thank you for your generous review. When we hear we are your "best hotel experience" ever we know that we are getting it right. A great boost for the team I can assure you. Glad to hear that our tall skinny maintenance guy (his name is Howard too!!) was there to help out. He is just another great example of our caring team. I hope we will again be able to host you both very soon.
Regards and best wishes from the Travellers family......................
