“Nice place to get a boat tour”
Reviewed 5 February 2014

This is something I wish I had read on the internet before traveling: if you go to Negril, take a boat tour. Better: get a glass-bottom boat tour. And a good place to find one is Bloody Bay.
There we took a quick tour around and went snorkeling, one of the best parts of the trip. There are lots of craft markets on the beach, a lot of people approaching to sell and even beg, but it seems to happen in every area outside the protected all-in areas.

“awesome”
Reviewed 15 January 2014

I loved this part of the beach..this would've been the best part of the hotels location..the water had little waves which is good for the children and floating on your own raft..walking it was perfect to check out the vendors and to meet some of the locals swimming to cool off from the hot days

“Gorgeous water and bay area”
Reviewed 22 October 2013

Water was gorgeous! Crystal clear and sting ray and star fish in view! There are vendors on the beach but most of them are very nice. Sunsets were gorgeous!

“Bloody Bay”
Reviewed 15 October 2013

The section of 7 miles beach known as Bloody Bay (terrible name) is much more peaceful than the other end of 7 Mile beach. You don't get all the shops and vendors that you get over the other side since Bloody Bay is mostly All-Inclusive Resorts like Couples Negril.
You can walk down to the Office of Nature and get lobster right out of the ocean and there are a couple of small shops but not much else.
This section is great for a peaceful walk (probably about 1 1/2 miles)

Reviewed 11 October 2013

The beach sand is wider than the long beach, water is more calm,we was at the grand Lido Negril,a lot of local signing swett songs and melodies pure and true! Do not miss Donovan the one who sings Cigarettes on the beach, his cd is wonderfull for 10$ is wort the price, jet ski really cheap there we paid 1004 for 1 hour and a half,we came to the rick's cafe and we come back a quick tour around booby cay we say a few rays manta, next time i will try the Riu palace or Sunset at the palms.
