“Cozy and beautiful beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 October 2013

We spent 3-4 hour till sunset at this cozy and beautiful beach. Entrance fee is about $ 20 for one car. Parking actually far away and need to take a walk to reach a beach. When security guard didn't see we got the beach by car! Not only we were clever ))) We ordered some food - not bad with a cool beer! The cold water streams in the bay make swim fun. We snorkeled and saw fishes and corals, but need to swim along the rocky shore where is pretty deep. In my short clip you can see Frenchman's cove too. There is a link: youtu.be/cjUhH5aUWBc

“Paradise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 October 2013

We stumble upon FC when the Blue Lagoon was undergoing some restoration to the beach and we couldn't go there. It ended up being one of the most beautiful places that I have been in Jamaica. For the admission, you are able to come and go all day, which we did. The grounds are well kept and the walk to the beach from the front parking lot is very pretty and full of photo ops. You are also able to drive up closer to the beach if you prefer. There is a hotel on the grounds and a restaurant at the beach, but we didn't order any food. There is a rental charge for lounge chairs, but the staff will bring them out to wherever you want them and we weren't charged again each time we came back. The river that runs down into the sea is calm, crystal clear and full of fish and very COLD!! The sea is a little more rough, but was fine for kids to play in. It was a great place to spend a day at the beach and I can't wait to go again.
