WOW Beautiful !!! Our stay at tropical lagoon resort was breathtaking, exceptional wonderful this resort deserves beyond a five star. we stayed in the king room which over look the pool and the carribean sea. the place was immaculate clean the service was excellent I wanna say a special thanks to Tanika and Mr Thompson for making our stay unforgettable awesome. We will definitely stay here again. The amenities is more than I expect you have the use of private beach "blue lagoon" kayaking, etc

When Tropical Lagoon decided to "make" their own private beach on the Blue Lagoon, they created controversy. But let me just say, it was well worth it! The guests can go down the very steep stairs to reach the beach (it's a pain in the rear to climb up). You can just sit on the chairs to relax, or swim around the lagoon (very very deep), kids can play on the beach, or make use of their kayaks. Monkey Island (where they fillmed the movie 'Night and Day' with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz) is probably just 20 minutes away by kayak.

When we were there a week ago (3/19/12-3/21/12), we were the only guests. We were told that the restaurant is not open except Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Since we made arrangements ahead of time, our first night dinner was served. The chef did a remarkable job in preparing it (fresh crunchy salad with homemade vinaigrette, oxtail stew, and brown chicken with rice and peas as side dish). But you can still have a Continental breakfast with your stay.

We rent the Passion Suite (1 master bedroom + 1 sofa bed) for the 4 of us. You can close the door that separates the master bedroom and the living room. My only dissapointment was the water pressure in the shower, it was very weak. The only water that will come out from the sink faucet is the hot water. One day, our room was not cleaned at all. We came back from the whole day at the beach to a messy room, sandy floor, and wet towels still on the floor. They said the sign on our door said 'Do Not Disturb' while I myself hang 'Please Clean Room' sign on the door.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They even let you use the big pool with the slide by the owner's villa (they live in the vicinity), but it just didn't feel right so we use the small pool by our villa instead. It was not so bad. Mr T was the guy who helped us arrange everything, we talked over the phone quite a lot to prepare our visit. The other on site staff was very helpful too. Antoinette was very helpful when we had to cut our stay there a day early.

The location of this hotel is perfect. Close to Frenchman's Cove and the other beaches, and also close to Boston Bay (jerk capitol of the world). A smaller version of convinient store is located across the street from Woody's. Perfect place to buy sodas, bottled water, snacks, etc for the fridge in your room.

Wi fi is not avaiable in your room, only at the office. But TV has cable, that should be enough for your entertainment. Wish the big entertainment center in the living room would be filled with board games and/or books. That'd be great.

We had the pleasure of staying at Tropical Lagoon in their Coconut II unit. From the first email until check out everything was handled with professionalism. The management and owner went above and beyond. No request went unfulfilled. The property is beautiful with the Blue Lagoon at your feet. The villa is very roomy, private, modern (including a jacuzzi tub) and secure, and the staff does an outstanding job. Breakfast was both tasty and reasonably priced. Everything is done with guest comfort in mind. It felt like home and we can't wait to return.

The rooms are nice, very good value for the price, well equiped, clean and spacious.

All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

The best part is the lagoon, even though the walk there is steep, its simply magical.

They have wireless onsite, but not in all of the rooms, however you can go to the reception office to use it.

The hotels resturant has just opened and is not open every day. The food is good and well priced, the staff are very helpful, but the food does take a while.

There are no restuarants or shops within walking distance, so if you are not driving, you should bring with you some drinks, and food to save getting a taxi or going to the restuarant all the time.

While you will be woken up by the hotel famous rooster early each morning, this is still the perfect spot to rest, relax and forget your troubles. This place is just what we needed.

Room Tip: Ask for one with wireless internet access

Hi guys, myself and my wife stayed at this awesome place for our second anniversary and I must say we fell in love with the place as we entered.
I was most impressed by their concern knowing that I arrived late they kept calling to see if we were o.k. (very good customer service) next I must say the scenery is excellent the coolness, quietness, greenery, ambiance, was a breath of fresh air from work and all the stress of life.
If you are wondering about the rooms- Clean & Nice, not to mention spacious and the price is just rite and affordable.
I encourage you to try it, you won't regret it. Thanks again to Tropical Lagoon, it was worth it.
