I stayed here when I was younger. I felt that this place needed to be renovated. Thank God at the time that one of my cousin that lived on the island was our housekeeper that's the only reason we survive our trip. We had no A/C it was broken and the fan was no help. I can tell anyone who's planning on staying here choose somewhere else that's worth while. Rent a real guest house that's up in the hills.

Met a couple on the bus going to Sunflower resort. I personally stayed at the Decameron resort (right next door, which was great) Went to visit the couple staying at the Sunflower, and to my dismay the place was a mess. Holes in the celing that allowed rain inside the homes. The resort is set up like a small community with town homes, no beach access. Kitchen was small, however plently of beds and bedrooms. (4 in the small house I was in) however only one bedroom didn't leak. The rest of the rooms would be wet by morning, from over night rains. The staff was as helpful as they could be, however there were too many other issues to enjoy a vacation. I ended up bringing food and drinks to the Sunflower guest, just to try and keep their vacation from being a total "wipe out" I would suggest that unless you are abolutely disparate, DO NOT STAY HERE

The rooms were simple, clean and air conditioned. There was a free shuttle to the public beach and the beach was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we felt at home. The jamaican food was wonderful. I would reccomend this place to anyone looking for a low budget, no frills vacation with an adventerous spirit.

crappy resort from a to z ! no air conditioning, no fan, dirty sheets, dirty bathroom and on top of everything .... Cockroaches. The public beach is at 20 minutes from the resort, by walk. There's only 4 beach chairs from the "70, and the pool is never clean. We got scrudded all the way !

visited 6 years ago no frills, cheapie all-inclusive mostly Europeans not many Americans. If it has not improved in the last six years I would not recommend. Especially for honeymoon unless you have a good sense of humor. It has potential to be a lovely little spot. Owners need to spend a little money (like on towels) to make money.
