“Nice but need to be taken care off”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 January 2013 via mobile

Just went to this beach and water and trees are great but the place in general need to be fixed bathrooms are a disaster water leaking all over no toilet paper or paper to dry hands the surrounding areas need to be taking care better everybody comes tru a broken fence on side of street so why charge $5.00 parking if there's no security great to have life savers on duty should have a place to sale water, sodas and other things let's not let this beach go to waste and let save it hope new government does something about it this is one place that if we fixed it can be one of the nicest beach in the Caribbean. Thanks

“Disappointing”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 January 2013

We visited this beach on January 3, and while the view is very pretty, the beach itself was a disappointment. The bathrooms were in poor shape, the outside showers did not work, and there was significant debris from vegetation and some garbage on the sand. The kids wanted to swim but the rocks hidden in the water made that hard. On the day we were there, there was a parking attendant to collect the fee, but no other staff around.

“Has lots of potential, but go the the 2 adjacent hidden beaches”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 December 2012

Seven seas beach overall is a cove with great views. There is very little surf due to reefs way out that shield the waves. As previous reviews mentions it is not clean. It perplexes me that an area dependant on tourism would not ensure a daily clean up. I have been to many beaches with washed up seaweed that is cleared daily. Additionally no attempt is made to pick up trash. But all is not lost. At the far end of the beach is a trail through the mangrove forest that leads to 2 spectacular beaches. Playa El Coral and Playa Escondida are about a 20 minute walk from the end of Seven Seas. Both are spectacular and free of humans. This is the way to go.

“Beautiful view, dirty beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 November 2012 via mobile

We weren't sure we even wanted to risk the walk to the sand- broken bottles & glass everywhere! The beach itself is beautiful to view. Very rocky and uneven in the water though. Wear water shoes for protection and bring your camera for memorable pics of the ocean.

“Take the hike to the hidden beaches”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 October 2012

Went on a weekday in October. Seven Seas beach was basically empty. Looks like it had been recently clean. So spending the day there would have been quite nice. However, we took the extra hike to El Covento and Playa Escondido. We were the only people on his beach. It was absolutely stunning. Soft sand, blue clear waters. There definitely was a bit of an undercurrent. We stayed close to shore and felt quite safe, despite the no swimming rule. There is little shade and no facilities. The "hike" was about 15 minutes. A wonderful way to spend the afternoon for free.
