Historic site. Well worth the trip. Take the trolly there it's free. Don't try walking to it on a hot day.

Thank Clarence B

We walked around and went again at night to check it out. It was pretty cool and in great shape. We loved looking out across the ocean from the ruins. This is a must see while you are in San Juan.

The historic site is wonderful! It consists of two Spanish forts, and large sections of the old city wall. We have visited the Spanish fort in St. Augustine, Florida and figured San Juan would be similar. It was with one exception, its HUGE!!! Lots of interesting history.

Self-guided, at our own pace. We had a great time. Dungeons, lookouts, tunnels, iguanas and hermit crabs! Also a nice little gift shop and right next to old San Juan.
