well worth it even for locals seeking more knowledge of island history. The building and its surroundings are impressive, an expanded experience covering other aspects of PR history, culture and possibly geography would be welcomed. Ativities taking place compleent the exhibits..

Lovely museum in historic building. The docents are very helpful as much of the signage is in Spanish.

Interesting collection with a great deal on the history of the Americas. Not a lot in English but docents very helpful. The building itself is beautiful and, to add something, a nice coffee shop on the ground floor. Worth 2 hour visit.

Ducked in here on our segway tour to get out of the rain. This building is absolutely beautiful and the courtyard is massive. Had a great time just watching the rain fall as we are from the desert. Next time we will actually take a tour in of the actual museum.

We were looking to get out of an afternoon thunderstorm and found our way here. Being from DC, we are spoiled by some of the best and free museums in the nation. Keeping that context in mind, I thought this was a great museum to spend a couple of hours indoors if needed. You definitely want a Spanish speaker with you to optimize the experience, as I noticed some of the info placards had more info and different, more interesting nuances in the information from what was listed in English. I think it's very I important the culture and heritage of our indigenous people be kept alive and retold, so I thought it was very valuable time spent with my preschool aged daughter. Craziest exhibit: the shrunken head. I had a WTH moment when viewing that. We could only see there three permanent exhibits and 2 visiting, but its in a lovely location and the docents were very friendly and helpful.
