We are HH Diamond members; which means we spend lots of money on our HH Amex and look forward to taking a trip VERY MUCH! We were able to get a room and contacted the hotel ahead of time; as it was our wedding anniversary trip. I have to thank Carla for picking out a lovely room for us. The high floor and view were wonderful. Aside from that personal touch, the hotel is not up to Hilton standards. The front desk staff couldn't care less that we are HH members. Talked about breakfast credit like we were kindergarteners learning a lesson. Housekeeping attention to detail is lacking. Made very cute toothbrush holder out of a washcloth, but hadn't cleaned toilet from the previous occupants.... Good location, can walk to other venues for casino, dinner, etc. Salt water pool area very nice, stays quiet most of the day.
Bell man, bartenders and cafe waitstaff all very nice. Casino staff wouldn't smile for anything. Very mixed feelings about this trip. But, bottom line, would try other end of island and Waldorf Astoria next time.More
