Hubby and I just returned from our short stay in San Juan. We were very happy with the hotel, staff and ammenities. Nice room, comfortable bed and good bathroom. The hotel has both a rooftop area with a jacuzzi and a pool on the ground floor. The location of this hotel worked out to be extremelly convenient, being in Condado and very close to the highway. Our only inconvenience was the parking situation since they only had 4 spots which oftentimes were all occupeid. Aside from that, we would certainly recommend this hotel to others and return on another occasion.

This company is dishonest. We stayed at the hotel for two nights and cancelled a third night. We checked when we registered to make sure the third night was cancelled and were told it was. Then they charged our credit card. They have refused to issue a credit, even though the whole process is documented. DON'T STAY HERE. CHOOSE ANOTHER PLACE!!!!!!!

We stayed for three nights at the end of February. The hotel was a lovely little haven in the Condado district. The room was pleasant; clean, quiet and cool, with an efficient air conditioning system. Breakfast was in a lovely location partially outside and partly inside surrounded by pot plants. Not a huge choice, but enough to feel satisfied. The hotel staff were extremelyl helpful and couldn't do enough when required.

We liked the rooftop hottub and terrace.

The area nearby was clean and not too busy. There was a good choice of restaurants. We went to the Ajili Mojili where there was lovely, tasty Puerto Rican food. There was a regular, cheap, bus service into the Old Town, which was well worth a visit. Prices ere competitive with the UK and USA.

We loved San Juan and would recommend it to anyone. We would certainly stay there again if going on a cruise, which we were.

The Coral Princess is a clean hotel. But, the staff was not helpful and they charged me hidden fees on checkout. They refused to waive them and I could not dispute them with my credit card because the Inn classified them as "operational expenses." Also, the Inn is not conveniently located to very many places. If you do stay here, beware of hidden charges and don't stay for more than 1-2 days because you will quickly become bored with the area.

I don't know the state of your relationships, but if they're healthy, a stay at the Coral Princess should only make them better. What a fine place! So clean, such a great vibe...We've stayed in a lot of cool spots, but this one is right up there with the rest.

For starters, the staff is superb and could not have been more helpful. When the rental car agency couldn't come and pick us up at the hotel, we were driven there. When we had trouble printing our boarding passes, they made sure we got it done. Etc, etc.

There are many pockets of open-air gathering spots sprinkled through the hotel, which we loved. There were chairs, coffee tables and a loveseat in one such spot right outside our room (#24), where we would go for at least part of every night to watch the moon and stars, drink some wine, and talk. There is also a rooftop patio, with lots of chairs and a hot tub. We liked that too, and of course it also added to the romance of the stay. Same for the garden breakfast area. Open-air, a lot of plants and color, some sunshine...a nice way to start each day. There is also a well-decorated common reading room with a lot of seating - and a pool table - but we didn't use any of that. Nor did we use the pool, which is in the shade in the afternoon. White tile floors throughout, which gave a very clean feel, including our room. Inside #24, a black-and-tan color scheme against the white tile, which worked really well for us...as did the oh-so-comfy and soft bed.

Great neighborhood too. Safe at all hours, so close to everything we needed, and right between the airport and Old San Juan. I'll go slightly off-track here and comment on the photos one of the previous reviewers posted. I'm going to guess he's a bit naive and inexperienced...and I'll leave it at that. He posted 5 pix, I think - and THREE of those were NOT by the Coral Princess. They were taken on Ashford, the main street in the Condado, and at least three blocks away from the hotel. If you keep going down Ashford a few more blocks, you'll come to Vuitton, Cartier, and several other exclusive boutique stores. So yes, photos can be deceiving. It got to where we'd make a game of it - "Find the Danger." Never could, but it was worth a laugh.

One final comment. Another reviewer described the breakfast as having a "coffee dispenser." That's a bit like saying a Porsche is "a car." While the overall breakfast was probably the weakest part of our stay, the WMF 1400 they use is a first-class machine, and puts out the very best coffee we have ever had. I don't think that's what they're serving up at Burger King., and if you love coffee, you're in for a treat.

If we ever make it back to SJ, we'll definitely stay at the Coral Princess...

My wife, sister and brother-in-law stayed here before our cruise. I read the reviews here and decided for the price this hotel would be fine. And it was, the price was great. Many other hotels in San Juan wanted more the $300 per night. We stayed two nights here for less than $200.
The Condado area is ok, some graffiti but you see that everywhere in San Juan. It is close to the beach and some resturants. We ate in two of the local resturants and found them to be very over priced.
We found the Walgreens near by to be a good place to get supplies before heading to the ship.
The breakfest was good, pastieries, fruit, yogurt, ham and cheese, with coffee and juices.
The place was clean and the staff friendly. Luis was very helpful.

My husband and I were booked for two nights at the coral princess inn and we absolutely loved the atmosphere, decor and our room. The flowers and plants were gorgeous in the outdoor seating areas. I loved having access to the coffee/latte machine and the juice machine all the time. The continental breakfast was good.
The night before we were to depart, my husband's lung collapsed in the middle of the night and he couldn't breathe. It was very scary and Roberto at the front desk called an ambulance and his presence calmed me. He translated for us to the paramedics and I am grateful for his great help. My husband was in the hospital for five days and the staff at the coral princess was so very kind and concerned. They extended my stay and helped me by translating, giving me numerous directions and advice. We stayed on and off at the coral princess for another month because my husband couldn't fly for a month, doctors orders. The manager Luis gave us rides to doctor appointments out of the goodness of his heart and the owner gave us a discount on our bill considering our unfortunate circumstances. The entire staff helped us, and I couldn't think of a better place to be stuck!
Thank you Coral princess Inn staff !!! We are grateful.
Oh and if you like spicy food try the hot sauce with about anything at Cafe del angel! We bought two bottles to bring home with us! Yum!!
