“Spectacular piece if history with breathtaking views.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 September 2014

Take a trip back to Spanish colonial times and get a sense of how life was 500 plus years ago. The sights were almost as amazing as the fort itself. Worth the visit.

Such a great place to visit. You could even take a lunch and have a picnic on the expansive grounds.

“Wonderful”

I can feel and see the past in the present. It is a must see stop in your trip. The view from the top facing the ocean made feel like I can see what the spaniards saw in the 1800's.

“Beautiful El Morro”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 September 2014

Gorgeous, sweeping views of the Carribean! Great location in OSJ, right next to the cemetery. It was closed on US Governemtnshutdown, but we were able to tour the grounds. Grand entrance and lush lawns surround the area. It is very hot and humid in the area, so you can enjoy some piraguas theat they sell across the street. Just a short distance away from the San Cristobal fort.

We went in the late afternoon and caught the sunset. It was amazing. One of the most beautiful experiences.
