Learned about Old House Cafe on the internet. Decided to visit on a sunday afternoon. Hubby and I were received and taken care off by the owner. Place is very inviting, not too big, dim lights, very pretty, cabin like decorations. Clean and Cozy! We loved the bar, too! The menu is not very extense, yet it has enough delicious platters to enjoy with fair prices. We started off with a passion fruit sangria glass, suggested by the owner. It was so delicious, we couldn't help another round! As main dishes we ordered stuffed swiss hamburger and a platter of "carne frita", a local meal made with pork meat chunks, deep fried and topped with caramelized onions. In both entrees the meat was very juicy, tender and seasoned to perfection. The side dishes were great and the portions are generous. The overall experience was delightful. I came back a week later with a friend!
